We’re also honoured to have been nominated again for this year’s WORLD SKI AWARDS. Chalet Ipaka, Kipnuk & Sakami in Avoriaz are all shortlisted for France’s Best Ski Chalet 2023. We certainly grabbed the attention of the locals as well when we had to deliver the larger parts of the new pool installations by helicopter !

There’s no secret formula to winning any award, just hard work, consistency, and patience. We’re a small team but we strive every day to build and deliver unforgettable holidays and create everlasting memories.

With your support last year Bear Lodge was voted “Best New Ski Hotel 2022” at the WORLD SKI AWARDS. It’s nominated again this year for France’s Best Ski Boutique Hotel. The infamous Folie Douce finally made it to Avoriaz in 2018 and has been delighting guests ever since. Stop by for weird and wonderful circus acts set to a soundtrack of club remixes and classic apres songs.

Le Yeti is a popular apres-ski bar with live music, where people like to go and relax on the sun terrace. It may be hard to resist just one more drink before heading back to the chalet given it's so close.

In the centre of Avoriaz, the Tavaillon is an English style pub, which attracts predominantly young British customers. You’ll enjoy a lively evening here with a wide selection of draft beers available, including Guinness. They often broadcast sporting events and also have a heated terrace.

A fun bar with live music which opens from 4pm until 2am, if you can make it that late!

This is the resort’s French club; it’s the only place that’s open after 2am if you fancy a late one. The drinks can be quite expensive, and it can get pretty busy, but it’s good fun.

A friendly team will be pleased to welcome you to this lively and atmospheric bar. Once a week they have themed nights hosted by local bands and DJs and often show sporting events. This place is known for its cocktail menu.

We often associate après ski with a drink and dancing, but Avoriaz has loads more activities on offer for those who still have energy to burn after a day on the slopes or maybe you’re looking for a relaxing massage back at the chalet?

You will be spoilt for choice of things to do on and off the slopes...

Rides and excursions of 90 minutes on TROTR'X all-terrain electric scooters. There is something for all tastes and abilities, from gentle and introductory outings to more energetic and challenging routes for the more adventurous.

Speed riding is an explosive cocktail combining air sports and skiing. Playing with gravity with skis on, jumping just over dozens of meters, then landing in inaccessible snow fields, this is what speedriding has to offer !!

Finally available to earthlings these contraptions from the future, resembling something between a bobsleigh and a tramway, may be enjoyed with no-limits in groups of 2 to 20 people. These bizarre sledges that couple together may be enjoyed by all ages from 7 to 77 years.

What could be more amazing than flying like a bird above a mountainous massif that’s as beautiful as it is impressive? Is it a dream? There’s no need to worry, you will be making your aerial initiation under full supervision and in complete safety, but we still think you need 75% daredevil factor!
