No. 2 Bellevarde

It’s no secret Val D’isere is the best ski resort in Europe. Add to this, fresh snow in the days before arrival followed by 4 out of 6 days of sunshine and the bonus of yet another fabulous stay with VIP in their Bellvarde chalets! Louis, Holly & Harriet nailed it with their friendly faces & delicious food with as usual the outdoor hot tub a must both before and after a day on the slopes!

Harriet, Louis and Holly we send our sincere thanks for your charm, grace and effortless professionalism. We thoroughly enjoyed your service and company. Wonderful service is a rare thing…never intrusive but always attentive…you deserve praise. The chalet was spotless at all times. The wider VIP Team were exemplary. The drivers: Matt, Sam, Jack, Tom and Korede welldone! You are definitely the backbone of the VIP service we greatly appreciated your cheerfulness, timeliness and intelligent conversation that added greatly to each journey….where did they find you all?…such a talented bunch! Which brings me to thank VIP…..the organisation from pick up to drop off was seamless and whatever logistical issues must inevitably arise in managing so many things they never surfaced, not once! We thank you for an excellent trip.

A fabulous week in Val with super hosts Hannah and Lily. Super tasty quality food, and hosting that attended to all of our needs. A wonderful Christmas week made super special, thank you.

Just back from No. 2 Bellevarde and it was a fantastic experience. Chalet is fantastic with nearly everything right at hand. The ski in ski out is such a great feature. But what made the trip was the two hosts, Amber & Harry. They looked after our every whim, cooked delicious breakfast, afternoon tea and splendid Evening meals. I couldn't praise them highly enough and wish them all the best in their future careers!

We stayed in Bellevarde Club It was perfect. Staff and food was fantastic Chalet is just lovely We will come again. I can not fault the service and all the staff were so friendly and cheerful. Thanks for a wonderful experience

Another great week with VIP. Chalet Merlot this time with Will, Bevan and Vic looking after us. Being only their second week, Will and Bev worked really hard with Vic backing them up on occasion. They did a great job and got better as the week progressed. Two very friendly and determined young men who made our holiday a relaxed and very enjoyable week The food was of a high standard and presented well. The chalet was kept very clean and homely.

Lovely chalet communal areas and bedrooms. First time in a mixed chalet - not for me. Pairing two young single guys with a young couple, and older couple and two older single ladies was a strange mix. There was conflict between other members of the group. Dan and Yas were both lovely and dealt with a difficult situation well. Small touches could be improved. At this price point I would not expect to have to ask for my room to be cleaned, it should be done daily. Water in the rooms was also not changed once, again this should be daily. Ski in/out is pushing it a bit. Even when cleared the steps to the piste (and the road for that matter) were dangerous and I fell and hurt my knee before even making it to the slopes. Concierge service was excellent, especially Alise (so helpful). Drivers were also great, especially Freddie (so beaut). I injured myself skiing on Thursday and Hannah was very helpful getting me to the medical centre and explaining everything as I'd never been injured before. She was excellent at reassuring me. Food was generally good and Dan and Yas were great hosts. One of the guests asked them if they'd like to eat with us which I think was a bit strange (for them too probably) and they probably felt pressured in to it. I don't think one guest should be able to make decisions for a whole mixed group. Overall, a good holiday. Poor weather and injuries can't be helped, but to justify the price point I do think there are quite a few small touches which could be easily worked on. Perhaps my first experience of a shared chalet out of the resort centre was not typical, so I'd be willing to give it another go.

Our week at Merlot was first class all the way, but made all the more special by the truly exceptional hosts, Dan and Yas who excelled with both the level of service and their friendliness and hospitality. They truly went the "extra mile" at every opportunity and have been the making of our week. The food was superbly prepared, and the menu varied.

This week was by far the best VIP experience. This was mainly down to chalet Hosts Dan and Yasmin. They made us feel very welcome and looked after us all week. The standard of food prepared was fabulous all week. The only quibble would be how stuffy the chalet rooms were even though the radiator in bedroom and bathrooms were off. Thanks to the chalet hosts for making our stay so pleasurable.

Lucky enough to have the chalet to ourselves, all requests (avocados and oat milk) provided without question by Dan and Yas (had been called to check requiremets pre trip but our hosts hasn't been told by whoever called so they got bits themselves). Dan and Yas were great hosts for the week. Especially grateful for the extra care when I wasn't feeling too well one day.

From the vin chaud for the adults to the pasta all ready for the kids from the moment we walked in the door ...the tone was set for what has been the most fabulous week! To see the whole family gathered around the Christmas tree whilst a group of carol singers came around is one of our family highlights for the year. The total surprise of a gift for each of the kids from our amazing hosts (Matt, Jaz and Daniel) when we came down for breakfast on Christmas morning was such a lovely thoughtful idea. Our hosts could not have done more for us all week ..from the delicious cooked breakfasts every morning to treats every afternoon. Huge thanks to Jaz for helping the kids get ski ready each morning and to Daniel for the roaring fire each evening. Finally to Matt ...huge thank you for keeping us so well fed ..you fuelled our skiing adventures and we cannot thank you enough.

We booked a last minute ski holiday to Val d'Isere not knowing really what to expect having never been to the resort before. The skiing conditions were incredible for the last week of the season and we had clear blue skies everyday! We met some lovely people in the chalet and had such great service from VIP, especially our hosts Joe and Martin. They cooked amazing food, supplied great wine and definitely made us feel at home. We were also impressed by the shuttle service provided and would certainly book with VIP ski again.

We had a wonderful final week of the season. The weather was absolutely perfect - seven days of clear blue skies - and the snow conditions were astonishing for so late in the year. We skiied virtually every run across the Espace Killy, and we had six very full days on the slopes. The chalet was superb, with the added bonus of access to the wonderful pool and spa. Most importantly, Joe and Martin were without doubt the best chalet hosts I have had the pleasure to meet in forty years of skiing. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was outstanding - restaurant standard every singe evening. They were charming, professional, good natured and excellent company. We can't wait to return with VIP next year. Thank you everyone.

VIP Ski offer a high level of service. Having a shuttle service to help us collect our ski equipment and to pick us up, on request, from anywhere in resort is such a luxury, however the price seems a little high considering the size of the chalet. The chalet is not exactly ski in/ski out as described as there is a bit of a brutal climb to get on to the slope which the less fit or less able would find tricky. The stars of the show however were our chalet hosts Joe and Steve. Incredibly friendly and helpful whilst maintaining the upmost professionalism. The standard of the food was a huge credit to them and every evening was a delight. I highly recommend.

We spent a great week at Chalet Merlot! The Chalet was lovely (our group especially enjoyed the hot tub) but the week was made even better by our hosts Joe and Martin. They made a great team and provided fantastic food, entertainment and playlists to suit the mood of the evening! Would definitely travel with VIP Ski again.

What a great week in Val d'Isere...we were very well looked after by both Joe & Steve, their professionalism was second to none, the sumptuous dinners were delicious, and they kept the wine flowing. The chalet was spotless and comfortable, the hot tub was a nice touch, although the chalet was more of an uphill climb than ski in/ski out as described. The VIP concierge and pick up service was a fantastic addition to the experience.

The chalet was perfect. Beautiful location - Hot tub with a wonderful view - Spacious - great boot room - lovely fireplace and the whole ski experience was terrific - made particularly easy by the Driver service provided, which could be called upon during any time of the day - for those of us not wanting to ski directly back to the chalet! But the best bit of VIP for me were the 2 chalet hosts that we had - Martin and Joe - who could not be faulted: they were so well prepared and were aware of each of our needs; they produced wonderful meals with great efficiency and which they seemed to really enjoy serving ; they provided music at the meals, assessing the mood and atmosphere - responding when we clearly were up for the karaoke time, whilst being sensitive to our wishes and quietly getting on with their job in the kitchen alongside us ( when we did quieten?) ; joined in with some of our games and taught us a couple; and even asked if we had particular food requests, which they sought - so thankyou for the prunes, maple syrup etc. A joy to have Joe and Martin as our chalet hosts when nothing was too much trouble and all done with a smile on their faces. Thank you both !

After a fraught start to our holiday with a long delay we were greeted by our hosts Joe and Martin with a 3 course meal at midnight! and they were still up bright and early the next morning! The chalet was amazing so cosy and comfortable, the food was incredible and J &M were brilliant hosts.we would also,like to thank all the other staff- drivers, maintenance people, resort managers etc who were all so helpful.

I think my stay at VIP SKI was outstanding: The service was fantastic, quick and the people who were cooking for us(Joe, Martin and Steve) were great. The pancakes were delicious for breakfast. And we were never bored there was so many games and comfort. The beds were very comfy the rooms are not to crowded and there is lots of space in the bathroom and the wardrobe. And the dinners are splendid every night it's something new and if your a vegiterian the have also got vegiterian food. So I think any family who enjoys staying in luxury VIP SKI is the place for you.

Despite very variable weather conditions we had a thoroughly great week. All of the VIP staff were more than willing to do whatever they could to help. The chalet hosts were great and the food was consistaintly good. They went out of their way to please my fussy 11 year old daughter. We will certainly consider booking again next year.

We have stayed with VIP for over 15 years, and it constantly improves. Thanks Sasha and Ryan for a great week in Merlot. Excellent cooks. We really valued their flexibility in catering for our children. Hope to see you next season.

I just wanted to take this opportunity to express my sheer gratitude for the unbelievable stay that we had. The house was stunning, the food was utterly delicious and the hospitality was flawless. This holiday was the most epic holiday I had for a long time. VIP Chalets were superb in organising the holiday. The chalet was gorgeous and superbly kept. As a resort Val disere is the best resort to ski in my opinion. The weather was superb and the pistes well kept. The apres was incredible. But the main reason the holiday was the hosts Ryan and Sasha. The food was incredible and they entertained us constantly. They accommodated all our dietary requirements and were fun and entertaining to be around. 5/5 in all regards.

Having skied for many years and tried all sorts of different resorts/accommodation, the benchmark was high going into this trip. I'm pleased to report all our expectations have been far exceeded, with the most incredible chalet, helpful hosts and delicious food throughout the week. A big thank you to all the VIP Ski team for making our experience so special and one to remember for a long time to come. We will definitely recommend you guys to all our friends and family.

What a fantastic week. Waited for the snow and booked late when we knew it had arrived. The whole holiday was fantastic. From being picked up at the airport with cold drinks and snacks to arrival at the Chalet, the journey was seem less. The chalet was fantastic. We have never booked into a shared chalet as a family before and were slightly apprehensive but we were lucky that the two other families also attracted to the VIP brand were lovely. We have had a wonderful week. Too much fantastic food and high quality wine have become the norm. The chalet hosts - Sasha and Ryan have been brilliant. Helpful, useful and knowledgeable as well as excellent cooks - what more can I say. I hope that we can come back one day.

We had already booked with another company for 2017.... By day 2 we were trying to cancel to rebook with VIP!! The team have exceeded our expectations (and we're really fussy to be honest). The small things make the difference... The helpfulness of Becky in sales, the nanny arrangements (and the fab nanny Robyn), the transport team and drivers in Val - nothing is too much trouble. With kids it makes such a difference to have that extra helping hand in the morning. And then we come to the chalet team of Matt and Bryony - first class in every sense. Nothing was too much trouble ... Including the ad hoc childcare. These two will be a success in whatever they do next (and they now know which side of the serving the side plates go) .... Let's hope it's another season with VIP!!

This was our fourth stay with VIP Ski, our third in Chalet Merlot - one of the Bellevarde Lodges in Val d'Isere, and though we have always thoroughly enjoyed each of our previous VIP holidays this particularly stay surpassed expectations. The chalet itself has had a bit of an internal facelift and is the now the proud product of a summer break refurbishment, we loved the fresh feel of the chalet and thought that the newly carpeted stairs were a hugely welcoming addition. Whatever refurbishment had taken place however, was very quickly overshadowed by the incredible service that chalet hosts Matt & Bryony provided us with. Where do we start..... We have been fortunate enough to have enjoyed a lot of skiing holidays which varying companies, VIP have always provided us with a great all round stay, but Matt & Bryony brought something very special to this year's holiday. To consider that this is their very first season beggars belief, they ran the chalet with the confident expertise of those with years behind them already. They welcomed us in for breakfast each day with broad smiles and keen banter whilst ensuring that each of our breakfast orders were precise and correct (...'how do you prefer your porridge, was the consistency yesterday ok or would you prefer more milk this morning? Ground cinnamon? Honey? What type of milk would you prefer, almond?'). There was never any hint of wanting to get their morning chores out of the way quickly so as to get clicked in to their own skis as quickly as possible, they made every effort in ensuring that we had all been given the very best breakfast service possible before attending to the thorough cleaning and tidying of the chalet and then finally out to the pistes. We always returned to a delightful afternoon tea, each daily treat was baked with care and skill and would have made many a keen baker proud. The chunky chocolate orange cookies were divine and melted in the mouth!!! When they both returned to the chalet to start preparations for the evening meal, their smiles would enter the chalet before they did (Matt has particularly good teeth which we chose to compliment him on every day!). They were happy to muck in with the kids and play in their games, they were keenly attentive and with an eagle's eye were asking us if we needed another refreshment before we had even realised ourselves that our cup/glass was empty. Every evening meal was cooked to perfection (the red meat was beautifully seared and left rare in the middle - though they were quick to point out that it would be no trouble at all to cook it through more should any of us prefer the meat to be cooked a little more - none of us did however, it was always perfect!). It was beautifully plated up and served with the confidence of a top restaurant waiter. They were very happy to join us for a game of charades after dinner one evening and provided us with much hilarity, and were also equally happy to share their run down 'Le Face' with them one afternoon proving that at all times they were the most genuinely welcoming hosts whose company we genuinely enjoyed to be in. Matt & Bryony have raised the bar to a very high level, they should be exceptionally proud of themselves for the effort that they apply to their daily responsibilities as chalet hosts and the impressively high level at which they are working. They are nothing short of superstars! An absolute credit to VIP Ski! Well done!! All the very best for the rest of the season, we only hope that you choose to stay again next year - we shall return!! I liked service especially to Mat and Bryony they were so good I would give 5 stars to them other then that bed was small room was small Living room was small I just don't like the size of the bed hard to believe for adults to sleep

What an awesome week at chalet merlot! On arrival at Grenoble we were greeted by members of the vip team and were smoothly and quickly on our way to Val disere. We were given lots of friendly info and advice by the coach rep Amanda and on arrival to resort, we were quickly whisked away by the ever formal driving team. As we pulled up to the chalet we were welcomed by the fantastic Jon and Annie into our amazing chalet. We won't be forgetting our holiday experience with Jon and Annie anytime soon. Throughout the entire week they were brilliant. The food was delicious and very well presented (we all loved the menu) they worked extremely hard keeping the chalet looking spotless, they had a great interactive skills and would join in on our games and conversations which our group loved. They put in lots of brilliant personal touches and went above and beyond on numerous occasions, especially on Aimee's birthday and all of the decorations. They are a credit to VIPSki and would be a credit to any company they would work for in the their future and shows a lot for the recruitment side of the company. The entire week was exactly what we wanted out of the holiday, and even with a small discrepancy in the week, it was quickly and professionally cleared up by our ever helpful chalet manager Gareth. When we needed it, Dave and the resort driving team were always formal and helpful to shuttle us around resort. We loved that the drivers would deliver our bags from the coach on arrival and collect them on departure. It was just another extra touch that driving staff had covered to make our experience that much better. The chalet looks lovely too with its great scenery and a top location, it would meet anyone's expectations. From start to finish we have thoroughly enjoyed our experience and we will definitely be returning with VIPSki and recommending them to friends and families back home. The whole holiday made that good by the very impressive job and Annie. Many thanks to the entire vip staff!!

We had a wonderful week at Chalet Merlot, with fantastic hosts John and Anni(they are a credit to your company) The food from breakfast, afternoon tea to dinner was delicious. We went for my Husbands 40th birthday and we both agree it was the best weeks skiing we have ever done. Thank you, Jane and Rich.

We recently stayed at the VIP Belllevarde Merlot Lodge. Enough cannot be said about how fantastic our ski week, largely due to our wonderful hosts John and Annie! The food was top notch, from cheese trays to canapés, parsnip soup to bruschetta, duck confit and chocolate chili mini pot volcano cake, each day was a new treat after a long ski day. John and Annie made us all feel welcome and relaxed in our chalet. Espace Killy offered endless slopes and beautiful vistas. We were fortunate to have good snow conditions and sunshine. How will we ever ski and stay at any other resort after this vacation?!?

We had an excellent week in the Bellevarde Lodge Merlot. The chalet was lovely and cosy and the hosts Annie and John were always very friendly and helpful. They even got up to make us a cooked breakfast at 0500 prior to our early morning transfer!

Skiing experience was good, chair lifts should be upgraded and more snow cannons throughout. To allow all runs to be open. The chalet experience however was extraordinary. The food created by Javier and Tanya was superb every meal time. They are a charming couple and nothing was too much trouble! Chalet Merlot should be awarded a Michelin Star!

Lovely holiday, fantastic food

We took Chalet Chablis to celebrate my sister's birthday so were 2 families.All the bedrooms were equally good so avoided any dissent and there was plenty of space in the evening for all to sit and relax .Dom and Lisa were excellent hosts-nothing was too much trouble.They even coped with different breakfast orders-very different from other chalet companies in our experience. The VIP concierge service was brilliant at booking tables of 12 in the mountain restaurants -obviously well known to all.The ski in ski out location was hassle free as was ski hire round the corner. We will definitely go with VIP again- the best chalet company we have travelled with.

We've had a great time on the special occasion of our son's wedding. Excellent facilities but our chalet holiday is all about the gang that look after you and this lot have been truly exceptional. Christopher and Alison Edwards.

We had an excellent stay this week. Our hosts were amazing, couldn't help enough, totally accommodating and great fun to share chalet with. Kat and Chris were very professional but at the same time involved with all the children and interested in all individual age groups and needs. The food was excellent, every evening, such high quality meals and really delicious. Chalet was clean and we couldn't have asked for more. Thank you for an unforgettable holiday.

A magic family reunion , chalet merlot is a fantastic ski in ski out location even so late in the season . The hot tub and the afternoon tea were definitely highlights , our chalet hosts were very accommodating . The chalet is great for a single party .

Great chalet though further out of town than optimal with non-skiing little children or beginner skiers. Therefore I would add the possibility of post-lessons transport (12:30) or a post lunch lift ( 1:30/2)... Was painful walking up hill with skis on, carrying kids skis, everyone in ski boots and children tired from lessons...absolutely fine if kids up to blue level or red ( Rogoney). This was counter-balanced by exceptionally personable yet professional chalet host: Barry, Tania and Becks. nothing too much trouble, v child friendly, great resort knowledge and fantastic cooks. Oxygene ski school disappointing: changed children's teacher on 5th day and no technique taught, more like a baby-sitting service. We had booked privates in afternoon with them too so wld have thought could have provided that same teacher to add continuity.Their timetable also poor: 9-12 v short to learn anything given the big " chocolate chaud" break of 25 mins in the middle. Maybe VIP should recommend New Gen also and negotiate some discounts? Much better attitude by instructors. Lessons 9-1:15 and two teachers per class. Our middle child took new gen lessons and advanced much much more. Flight a disaster, 3 hour delay on a 8:45 flight so Titan Air provided flight and coach transfer then under pressure to get to resort in time. Oxygene v v slow on ski hire so 1st dinner in chalet finished at midnight.... V v long day and could have been so much better. Overall we all really enjoyed our holiday and am v pleased we came with VIP but am reconsidering flight options and ski schools + location should have been explained better. Staff in resort always make up for the weaknesses so thanks for all their help and " can do" attitude.

We got back yesterday had an amazing trip - 3 families with 4 boys aged 4 and two babies - Danni and George looked after us amazingly well and nothing was too much trouble - showed us the way to ski school, helped us with equipment in morning, opened up the hot tub for us and even brought us cups of tea with our wakeup call!! Food was great and lots of it! I agree with some of the other comments that 3 courses every night is a bit much by the end of the week, but I see there are options to have lighter meals and I think this should perhaps be offered a little more - also, for the kids the food was a little disappointing at times and not as much thought gone into as adult meals, and would have preferred more healthy choices - the kids were literally asking for broccoli and peppers by the end of the holidays. Having said that, whenever we asked for fruit or anything additional that was made available so perhaps just something to think about offering more actively! But certainly an amazing holiday and will definitely will be considering VIP next year!

An amazing week in Val D'Isere, VIP staff have been great from start to finish - perfect combination of friendly and relaxed, and organised and professional (most of the time!!) Ben and Javi were fantastic company in the chalet, it was great to get to know them both, and their cooking and hosting was amazing. It seemed clear it was towards the end of the season for them, although this didn't matter to me as much as other guests in the group. All round I thought they were awesome and would definitely come back!! Huge thanks to them both for a lovely week xx

I spent a week in the vip chalet here in Val and have to say it was immense. Great atmosphere great company and fantastic chalet staff who went out of their way to make all guests feel welcome and who met all needs and ad hoc requests with a smile. The dancing the fun and the whole experience will be one I shall remember . Thank you all and enjoy the rest of your season !!!

We have had the most brilliant week mainly because Kat and Chris have looked after us so wonderfully. We have lucked out with them and they are well above the normal VIP staff of the past so thank you Kat and Chris! The chalet was great tho the bedrooms are small. Ski hire arrangement was a bit chaotic but all in all thank you VIP-we shall be back!

Excellent chalet good food lovely weather. My wife has dietary conditions which were extremely well catered. A little smokey when cooking (clean the oven), and perhaps kitchen hygiene could be improved a little. Other than that the guys were great without being intrusive.

Excellent chalet with great facilities and all the staff looked after us very well. the standard of the food was consistently high and would definitely recommend the bellevarde lodge.

The two guys looking after us couldn't have been more helpful - and patient with us turning up late for dinner. They even took part in our less-than-friendly Articulate game and helped calm down the friction between last year's teams... The food was excellent. Enjoyed the hot tub - a real treat. And baths too - always good for tired legs. Bedrooms were small - that's normal in France but a pity in a purpose-built chalet.

Chalet was great with the shared areas providing adequate space and great facilities all round.. Very convenient for skiing being so close to the main lifts although skiing back n was difficult as the run that passes the chalet was largely shut. Bedrooms were fine if not a little small. Our hosts Ben and Xavier were extremely efficient and helpful at every turn and accommodated absolutely every request we threw at them. The standard of the food they delivered was great and breakfasts were perfect despite eclectic tastes. They really were faultless and lots of fun, really making an effort to make us feel at home and being very sociable which is exactly what we wanted. Ski shop service was great, especially ski pick up at the end of the week. Robyn looked after our son Dexter all week and was great with him. She also accommodated a lot of last minute requests and was available whenever we needed a few extra hours. Perfect! Lift service from town after après ski was handy but could have been offered a little later. Overall a great holiday.

Jamie, Finn, Ben and Fay were all great. Jamie does a mean vodka and tonic, served in the hot tub..

Cracking week. My chalet boys were a delight. Great cooks, good cleaners and more over a good laugh. Couldn't do enough to make our stay a happy one.

Chalet lovely, chalet hosts very accommodating very friendly and whole experience over all very good. The hot tub was a real bonus and nice to come back to after after a day of skiing.

We've had a fabulous week. Beautiful, clean chalet in great location- lovely rooms, all with clean and good en-suite facilities. Our hosts Ben and Javier could not have done more to make our stay a great one. They are a truly great team who, calmly and efficiently, put together a delicious dinner every night. I have skied for 30 years and stayed in MANY catered chalets - this is up there with the best and that is totally thanks to the care and effort put in by Ben and Javier. Top marks guys - and thank you for a brilliant, memorable week.

The chalet was lovely comfortable and well located. Ski in out but not always easy to do but it doesn't matter as it's just a short walk/ bus ride to get back. The food was great and the chalet staff were super accommodating and friendly, we felt very looked after. The sound in the chalet was great in that we couldn't hear anything from other rooms or from downstairs.

We had a fantastic week in Val D'Isere. All the VIP staff were very helpful and friendly. Special mention has to go to Lisa & Dominic our chalet hosts who looked after us all all week, catering for both adults and children making us all feel at home, and chalet manager Faye who was most helpful when one of our party was unwell. We would highly recommend VIP and will most definitely use your company again.

Overall a great week but the first impression was disappointing. When I had exited customs the first VIP representative at the airport welcomed us but sent us in the direction of the Mark Warner coaches!!!!! I was not the only person in the chalet who had the same problem. The transfer was not up to standard. The rep Vitally did not introduce himself on the coach, welcome everybody and in fact he did not open his mouth the whole 3 hours to the resort. I expected to be able to buy my ski pass on the coach but this was never offered. Once we arrived at the chalet everything changed. The staff have been amazing and nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was better than good overall. The room was well appointed but a little small. The reception area was very comfortable. The only real issue we have is with Fay who is meant to be in charge of this chalet but we have not seen her the whole time we were here. We should have been advised when she was due to be here. In reality she never turned up anyway. She has relied upon her staff in the chalet too much. Luckily for her the staff were fantastic but she should have shown her face.

This is our eighth holiday with VIP and this matched the quality we have come to expect. We have stayed in the Bellevarde Lodge chalet once before and it was as good as we remembered. The chalet hosts were particularly good this year - quietly efficient, easy going, mature and great cooks. We felt very well looked after which added to the relaxation of the holiday. Thanks VIP - we'll be back!

Lots of laughs, great food, plenty of advice, and great company, a fantastic week - all credit to Ben and Javier

Positive: Food, accommodation quality and location, value, outstanding chalet hosts who made it their business to help everyone have fun and succeeded magnificently in this regard. Negative: Greeting and coach transfer to resort - the rep on the bus really added no value and did not communicate with the guests or use the time to get ahead on lift pass orders etc. Hot tub - did not work for 2 days - a bottle of port between 8 people was little compensation. Overall: Javier and his deputy Ben did a great job. They are relentlessly good humoured and ensured a good time was had by all - not easy in a (very) mixed group. A top holiday despite a couple of difficulties.

A fantastic holiday - I would not hesitate to highly recommend VIP ski to anyone. The attention to detail was second to none. The service was efficient, thoughtful and personalised, including the seamless transfer, the wake-up drinks, superb ski-in, ski-out chalet, delicious food and attentive chalet hosts Claire and Johnny. The Merlot chalet is very comfortable, spacious and in a fantastic location. Views from the living room and hot tub onto the slopes are amazing. All in our chalet had a great time which was enhanced by our wonderful hosts, Joe and Rich.

Great accommodation , excellent staff all extremely helpful . Absolutely no complaints . Will happily come again and recommend others .

What a fabulous week we had impeccable food amazing service great humour from are lovely hosts and Chalet was always clean. The ambience every night was perfect music and candles . If we ever needed anything it was done within a instance never had to ask twice or wait. Danny and Katie have great knowledge of the the runs and we're able to let us know which are the best ones. Even though we did see them fly done trolls run In times not for the faint hearted (scary black run even for us) they always knew the forecast for us everyday and told us when they brought in our wake up drinks. Please can we keep them as we had a amazing time and the best scrambled eggs ever ...

Really like the chalet but a little warm. Any way to knock the temperature down a bit? Transfer bus was yuck. Graffiti on chairs, chewing gum stuck in places and air vents broken. Not good really considering the price. Katie and dani were great. Very friendly and helpful. We had early starts every day but was no problem for them. Yummy cakes in the afternoon and flexibility with evening meals (timing and food). It is their hospitality which really makes the holiday. Thanks to both!

We had an great time in a very nice chalet run by the amazing Ben and Javier, who were very friendly and excellent cooks. They were great hosts and both looked after us during the day and socialised in the evenings, and generally made life very comfortable and awesome. The chalet easily fitted twelve of us, and the proximity to the slopes made both leaving in the morning and returning in the evening very convenient. I think we would definitely consider booking with VIP again, and overall we had a great week.

Holiday experience was fantastic! Many thanks to Ben and Javi for looking after us so well. Food and wine were excellent, exceeding expectations. The hot tub was outstanding - it is going to be hard to leave it behind! Highly recommended, see you next year vip ski :D

When I heard we had 2 guys looking after us I had fears of a messy chalet and awful food - I couldn't have been more wrong! Ben and Javier have been great from the moment we arrived to a spotless chalet and chocolate cake, to the smiling faces I know will be there at breakfast tomorrow on our last day at 6.30am. Food has been outstanding every day, and Javier's cakes and desserts are superb! I needed to do all the skiing just to burn them off!! Seriously though, the guys were always helpful and pampered us rotten.... Half of me wants to get used to this! The chalet was in a perfect setting, and being able to ski on the piste just outside was a major bonus. Rooms with beautiful views if the mountain, the best hot tub ever and hot, powerful showers all helped make this the best first skiing holiday ever. I can't wait to come back :-)

A wonderful chalet to stay in complemented by excellent cooking with a warm and friendly atmosphere. I had a fantastic week in Val D'Isere with VIP ski and our hosts who were brilliant and made us feel completely at home.

Very friendly staff who made us feel very welcome. Chalet was convenient to ski area and town. Great meals and delicious teas and sweets! We stayed in the Merlot chalet.

I really enjoyed my ski holiday and the chalet was great. Ben and Javier were great chalet hosts as they kept the place tidy, they were good cooks and they were funny. The skiing was great fun as I went to teen and forne as well as val d'saire.

Our chalet staff were fantastic. They were approachable and took care of matters in stride. They ensured the rooms were tidy and we'll stocked. They were polite and punctual.

Fantastic holiday, we're planning to use you again next year and bring friends along too. Very few criticisms, my one comment would be that I think you had made the chalet menu too fussy which meant it was hard to pull off, simple food done well would be perfect.
