The chalet was very clean, comfortable, spacious, well appointed and equipped, and very convenient location for ski-in/ski-out. The meals by our chalet hosts (Jess and Richard) were all excellent - well cooked, well presented and well considered - and both of them were so good-mannered, polite and friendly.
Actually, all of the VIP SKI resort team were wonderful - friendly and helpful at all times (with special mention to Hannah, the chalet manager, who popped in every morning and night to check we were OK), and Tilley (who was a great help from the concierge desk on many occasions).
The ski hire and lift passes were sorted out very efficiently upon our arrival, and the VIP SKI Concierge WhatsApp was a great idea for supporting us during our holiday (e.g. booking tables for lunch etc).
We have been on ski holidays with other chalet companies in the past, where they have been quite judicious with the inclusive wine and other alcoholic drinks. Not so with VIP SKI! Our fridge was constantly stocked with included/complimentary champagne, wine and beer - it's a wonder that we have not returned as alcoholics!
We had a minor problem on our chalet host's day off, where we were assured that continental breakfast and afternoon tea would be left out for us. Unfortunately, neither materialised. Some breakfast provisions (milk, fruit, croissants etc) eventually arrived from George at 8.50am, after we chased the VIP Concierge team, and our afternoon cake was found frozen in the freezer that evening! However, these minor set-backs would not deter us from recommending VIP SKI, or staying again, as the holiday overall was excellent and a 5 star product from VIP SKI. Thank you.
One final thing to suggest is that VIP SKI could advise guests to bring snow shoes or boots for walking around the village in the evening. There was too much snow and ice for using normal shoes.
Thank you to everyone at VIP SKI, including Jess who helped with our booking of Chalet Choko and offered us an attractive last-minute option.
