April ski holidays

Easter school holidays usually fall in early April and are becoming a popular choice for a family holiday as April boasts longer days, usually milder weather and is a more cost effective option than the February half term date.

For those of you thinking it's too late to ski, you're wrong. We're always excited about spring skiing, especially the last couple of weeks of the ski season, just think... quieter slopes, longer days and milder temperatures, plenty of snow, and unmissable special offers. Some of the best skiing conditions have been seen recently in April, with snow still falling up until the end of the month and plenty of sunshine to enjoy.

There’s always a great vibe at the end of the season, with many end of season parties and also some great deals to be snapped up with end of season sales on skis, snowboards, boots and clothing.

A little tip for April ski holidays - some south facing runs may be slushier in the afternoon during late April, so we recommend an early start, continue skiing through lunch, and an early finish for a late lunch on a terrace in the sunshine.
