Is this course for you?
If you’re considering accepting a job as a chalet host, or maybe you already have a job lined up for this winter… but if you’re nervous or anxious about your cooking ability, then this course is definitely for you.
Our VIP SKI chalet host cookery course has grown in popularity over the last few years. Working alongside our dedicated chefs, you'll learn all there is to know about running your own chalet from the comfort of our fabulous Morzine chalet.
It is ideal for candidates who have all the necessary attributes needed to become a chalet host but who are lacking in cooking experience and/or catering confidence. With successful completion of our chalet host cooking course we believe you will start the season with minimal stress, fully able to enjoy your job, especially the cooking and maximise all the fun that your new season life will bring.
During the week, you'll be offered the opportunity to interview for a chalet host position with us.

If you’re considering accepting a job as a chalet host, or maybe you already have a job lined up for this winter… but if you’re nervous or anxious about your cooking ability, then this course is definitely for you.
It’s designed to develop skills and confidence in running all aspects of an Alpine chalet, primarily focussing on cooking. The course will be very interactive and relaxed due to small class sizes, and you will have plenty of free time to explore and enjoy Morzine.
The course is delivered in the Alpine resort of Morzine in the French Alps. Based in one of our luxury chalets (with a hot tub!) we’re able to fully replicate the challenges and realities of running a chalet in the winter. This provides the perfect learning environment; you’ll be cooking in a chalet kitchen, at altitude, and with similar hours to that expected of you in a chalet host role.
** Regrettably we are not operating our cookery course in 2023. We hope to finalise details for the summer 2024 course here as soon as possible.**
