Bear Cubs at Bear Resort
We thought it would be cool to have a place for the kids and nannies to hang out, somewhere that they could call their own. We’ve put it bang on the piste and next to the front door, prime real estate in our resort, convenient for outdoor play and easy for parents to peek without even having to pop their bindings.
A lovely large airy room full of sun throughout the day, stuffed full of toys and entertainment for every age. Large enough for a quiet sleep in one corner whilst others scream and splash paint in the other.

Don't wait, limited places available
Our childcare services are heavily subsidised and only available to our own guests in combination with a full price accommodation booking. We have a limited number of nannies and so are often sold out, particularly during school holidays.
When this is the case, we will try our very best to source an additional nanny from a reliable agency and pass this service on to you at cost, nonetheless external childcare is considerably more expensive than our own in-house supply. It is essential to book this service as early as you possibly can to avoid disappointment. Call our sales team on 0203 892 4060 for advice on current availability.

Little ones in ski school
A parent cannot relax until they are sure that their children are enjoying their ski lessons and being looked after well. We have our own Club Piou Piou snow garden right outside the Bear Cub playroom for the little ones to learn safely and close to the loo! Whatever their age, if you have booked full day or half-day childcare then our nannies will liaise with the instructors, check your child has gloves, goggles and sunblock in the morning and collect your precious package in time for lunch.
Experienced and enthusiastic childcare
We offer flexible childcare for all ages and look after your little one for as long or as little as you like. We drop off and collect children from ski school and provide a supervised lunch at our restaurant just next door.
Outside of ski school the children have endless fun inside and out, from arts and crafts, treasure hunts and storytelling, to building igloos, bum boarding and songs.
The safety and wellbeing of your children is of course our priority and so our playroom operates to outstanding standards, policies and procedures. Our nannies are chosen for their experience, maturity, confidence and enthusiasm. The average age of our nannies last season was 24. During their training course at the start of the season, as well as updating Health and Safety qualifications, the nannies have sessions in basic French, indoor and outdoor play in the snow and even learn how to sledge safely (… really!)
What's more, all our Bear Cub nannies;
- Are qualified, not just “experienced”
- Have been personally interviewed and references taken
- Are DBS cleared
- Have taken a Paediatric First Aid course
- Have Food Hygiene training
- Have Fire safety training
