There’s something truly special about escaping to the Alps in February. The days are longer, the snow is deep, and the mountains come alive with the laughter of families sharing a week that will be remembered for years to come.
Our February half-term holidays are designed to make that experience effortless, a perfect blend of luxury, adventure and quality time together.
By February, the Alps are in their prime. Our high-altitude resorts, including Val d’Isère, Arc 1950 and La Plagne, promise reliable snow, sunny skies and beautifully groomed pistes. From our ski-in ski-out Bear Lodge to our brand-new Graciosa chalets in La Plagne, each is designed with families in mind, spacious lounges, outdoor hot tubs, and just-for-kids ski experiences that make mornings a joy, not a juggle.
Our team take care of the details, so you can focus on making memories. Wake up to a cooked breakfast, ski equipment ready in the boot room, and ski school just steps away. When little legs tire, return to hot chocolate by the fire and the smell of afternoon cake. Dinner is family-style and delicious, prepared by your dedicated chalet host, with children’s mealtimes planned around your routine.
Excellent snow conditions across all resorts
Longer days and brighter weather
Perfect timing between Christmas and Easter peaks
A balance of family buzz and Alpine calm
We’re thrilled to introduce the Graciosa in La Plagne - sixteen exceptional chalets built for modern mountain living. Each suite is moments from the piste, with space for the whole family and views you’ll talk about long after you’re home. It’s the perfect base for your next half-term adventure.
When should I book my February half-term ski holiday?
February is one of the most sought-after weeks in the ski calendar, and the best chalets fill fast. We recommend booking by early summer to secure your preferred dates and resort, particularly if you’re travelling with extended family or need childcare.
Which resorts are best for families?
All our destinations are family-friendly, but our guests especially love Val d’Isère for its ski school excellence, Arc 1950 for convenience, and La Plagne for its wide, confidence-boosting pistes and new VIP SKI chalets at The Graciosa.
What’s the snow like in February?
Mid-season snow is usually at its most reliable. Our high-altitude resorts sit well above 1800 m, ensuring great conditions even when lower resorts begin to soften.
Do you offer childcare or ski lessons for children?
Yes - we can help arrange private nannies, ski schools and lessons for all ages, and provide family-friendly mealtimes to suit your routine. Your in-resort team will make sure everything runs smoothly from arrival to departure.
Do we need to bring all our ski gear?
Not at all. You can pre-book ski and snowboard equipment through us, ready for collection in resort. If you’re travelling with children, we’ll help ensure the perfect fit for growing feet.
Book early ski school slots: they fill quickly for half-term.
Pack layers, not bulk: Thermal base layers, micro fleeces and a waterproof ski jacket keep kids warmer than heavy coats.
Schedule downtime: A late start or afternoon in the chalet helps everyone recharge.
Capture the moments: Whether it’s their first snowplough or your shared hot chocolate on the terrace, these are the memories that last.
