Excellent chalet and brilliant chalet hosts. Accommodation is fantastic - loads of space, very comfortable and superb location. Ski in ski ski out is awesome and Bear Lodge facilities are excellent. All the food was fantastic and the hosts were attentive and accommodating. We had a great time and every one of us would love to come back to this chalet and resort again. Our chalet hosts were friendly and really flexible. They struck the perfect balance of chatting with us and being discreet and letting us get on with our holiday. Congratulations to Ellie and Lucy for being wonderful hosts and chefs. We were in awe of how they managed to plate up food for 10 in the small kitchen. Food was excellent and always bang on time and delicious. There were are few small things that we would like to feedback for improvements. We had some room and towel confusion on arrival and on towel change day - despite me speaking to Ally a few days in advance and letting her know how many guests would be in each room and how to set each room up, there were the wrong number of towels in each room and every room was set up as a double, despite me asking for room 1 to be set up as 2 single beds. It was a small thing, but annoying as I had made the effort to let her know which rooms were to be single occupants and which were to be pairs and which were couples. Its no big hassle to swap towels around, but the fact that room 1 was set up as a double meant that one of our guests slept in the bunk beds which are not full size beds. The other consequence was that one of our guests who recently lost her husband had two towels and robes in her room, which upset her on arrival as it reminded her of her loss. Other little things - It says on the website that toiletries are provided. In other chalets we have had hair conditioner and moisturiser provided, and as a result we didn’t bring them with us and had to go buy them. It would be good to be more explicit about what is provided. The website also says that a cup of tea is provided in the morning to your room - this was not offered. No biggy - but maybe update the website so it doesn’t set unrealistic expectations. The TV/satellite reception wasn’t working for several days and even once it was fixed in the living room, it still didn’t work in at least one of the bedrooms. Last tiny thing - there was something stuck on the bannister of the stairs (dried food probably) and there was a drink spill on the stairs when we arrived and all week. Didn’t make any difference to our enjoyment, but a few of us noticed it.

Well if you want to treat yourself, book into the beautiful Manoir. It has been so tastefully decorated whilst still respecting unique features. This makes for a smart but very cosy atmosphere. The staff are really friendly and on-hand for anything you need. As for a G+T in the hot tub overlooking the views…….

We had a fab time at the stunning Manoir. The staff bent over backwards to help & look after the group, the food was delicious (afternoon cakes were exceptional!) and the atmosphere relaxed, fun & welcoming. The chalet is just beautiful…tastefully decorated with attention to detail, comfy beds & true character. Thank you to the whole team…we had a wonderful week!

Great week in the Farmhouse. Excellent central location in the old town, 5 minute walk to the main lifts. Loved the beams, open fire and hammam. Friendly capable chalet staff served up delicious grub - big thanks to Henry and Sasha (plus Hamish and Jonah)for all your effort and your humour, very much appreciated! Also the airport transfers went very smoothly, always a bonus! Things to improve - very little actually - some fresh croissants etc for breakfast would have been nice occasionally, it is France after all! Also the swimming pool counter current pump hasn’t been working for a while, perhaps VIP ski should have told us before we arrived as it was a positive feature when booking this chalet. All in all superb holiday, helped by the weather being SO much better than predicted. Love VDI. X

Excellent facilities, location and chalet hosts in Chalet Sakami in Avoriaz.

From the customer service in the UK to the team in chalet, we had a brilliant holiday! The team are a credit to VIP SKI, the meals were great. Kids tea was all freshly cooked and varied, a welcome change from nuggets and chips! Fantastic drinks and canapes too and reading the previous reviews we picked up a bottle of gin in duty free to bring along and the staff were more than happy to provide tonics and ice Great and patient help from the UK team arranging our first experience of ski school for our 3yr old - it's an easy walk to go down in the bubble to be at the ESF for the Club Piou Pioou 9am lessons (they didn't mind her being 5 mins late as the bubble opens at 9!) There are no negatives, the service was seamless from start to finish with a wonderful last night in front of the camp fire for our final evening

Just back from another fantastic stay at beautiful Manoir. Nothing was too much trouble for Sylvi, Alanna, Sophie and Alex who looked after us wonderfully (always knowing we needed another G&T before we realised ourselves!) Anyone wanting the treat of staying in the most beautiful chalet in the Alps should head straight to Le Manoir…

Great operation, very slick! Very clean, well run hotel chalet that provides yummy cooked food EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK - none of this 'chalet staff night off' twice a week. My only complaints are regarding the bar... and they are 1) need a better IPA on tap as the meantime stuff is gut rotting. 2) with so many members of staff... why do I have to message the reception desk for someone to man-the-bar at 'cake time'? Everything else is perfect! VERY friendly staff, amazing location, quiet rooms, amazing views from the balcony, great spa (wellness suit)
