We know that web sites are littered with anonymous out of date testimonials that it’s difficult to trust, but we're displaying comments written by our current and recent guests live, here on our web site.   • Great hotel

    Bear lodge and the staff are all amazing. Two kids 9 and 14 and both had a great time. Tiff behind the bar was great. All the staff were very helpful and kind. We had too much snow one day to ski and the chalet put on lots to keep everyone busy and fed! Overall les arcs was far too busy at half term week. I would come again with vip ski but maybe not les arcs during half term.

    Sadly we missed a couple of days skiing due to adverse weather but the facilities at the hotel gave us plenty to do and the staff were amazing all week. We have travelled with VIP many times now and I don’t think there is a better ski company.

    We had a really cozy stay with our family at Bel Sol Chalet. The chalet itself is perfect for skiing vacation both interior and location wise. Our hostess Grace made us feel like at home and she was very sweet, welcoming and helpful with any questions we had. We loved our afternoon tea cakes and delicious dinners!

    I was very impressed with my first ever catered chalet experience. Our hosts, Ottilie, Gil and Oscar couldn’t have been more welcoming, friendly and efficient. I loved all the delicious meals (worthy of an expensive restaurant) and the chalet was kept clean, warm and welcoming with the open fire and hot tub very pleasant additions. The transfers were smoothly organised and even collecting and delivering to the chalet our lost luggage on the first evening was done by Ben very willingly. Many thanks to all responsible.

    I was apprehensive about booking initially as it seemed quite expensive, however now I’ve been I considering excellent value for money and would love to come again. The service and food in the chalet was perfect, it felt that we were truly spoiled which enabled us to switch off, have fun and re-charge. The food was excellent and we LOVED James the chef, who came to the table every night to explain each dish with great passion. I wish we could’ve taken him home. The chalet was beautifully finished and felt so luxurious. I loved the views across the valley from the penthouse, we could watch the weather systems roll in and out while dining on the fine foods provided by the private chef. A couple of constructive points… a team of snow clearers came in to clear the balcony with snow shovels in the middle of dinner, which sort of ruined the atmosphere! We asked them not to, but they said they’d been told they had to by management Also, we had an issue with the ski school. Oxygen took it up on themselves to downgrade my 5 year old to the 3 year olds lesson, and thus she didn’t really learn to ski as we’d booked. We only found this out on Friday, and we were very unhappy about this. We brought it up with Andy the Oxygen rep and he couldn’t have been less bothered. He even tried to blame me, saying I’d asked for it (I had not), and then tried to blame the VIP Nannie’s (also untrue). The VIP team then helped to badger him to try to recover this, getting my 5 year old a private lesson. All the VIP team were fab about this, and it wasn’t their fault. Oxygen management though were appalling and I’d actually consider not using them next time and requesting ESF because of their terrible attitude. I didn’t want to spend my holiday complaining / dealing with nonsense. I wanted the problem fixed quickly with empathy and it was not. As such, that spoiled the end of the holiday, which was a shame. I did leave though with a high opinion of VIP and would love to come again (just possibly not with Oxygen for the kids)

    The staff were fantastic, the position of the hotel was fantastic, food and wine fantastic, pool and spa an absolute godsend (given the weather we had). Bar area was really nice, and prices very reasonable too. Anything to improve on ? Maybe a coffee machine in the room would be nice- although coffee machines were around the hotel , so not really an issue.
