Clearly we think we're great, why come to work otherwise. But what do our customers say? We know that web sites are littered with anonymous out of date testimonials that it’s difficult to trust, but we're displaying comments written by our current and recent guests live, here on our web site. We're laying it bare, warts and all, and with the name of the writer attached. It’s not easy to look at yourself objectively, so don’t listen to us, listen to our guests.

Despite this being probably the most dramatic holiday ever, with one adult in our party getting very sick just before travelling as well as me incurring a ski injury, we were accommodated far beyond our expectations and we had a fantastic time. All food requirements for our unwell travel buddy were accommodated, with such kindness and compassion, Ben and Ewan were very kind to drive me around to the medical centre and pharmacy when I hurt my knee skiing. Everyone was absolutely lovely despite our party’s high needs. We had 6 children with us, who thoroughly enjoyed every second of the holiday, so they say, loved all the food as did all the adults. Casper and Evie looked after us so well in the chalet and wouldn’t let us lift a finger even if we tried! Ally was amazing at organising everything despite our ever changing stressful requirements, due to our unusual circumstances. Each and every member of staff that we encountered was truly outstanding. The chalet is beautiful, stunning views, it’s a great place to ski, everything was just taken care of for us, I couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you!!!!
Super Holiday, love Les Arcs 1950. Lovely location. Bear Lodge Hotel and chalets lovely. Super facilities. VIP Ski staff super. Our 2 chalet hosts were super. Will & Ollie. The drawback for us was we came home tired out. We didnt have the chill time, peace and rest that we all needed and expected to have. Due to the hosts having to cook, cook and cook, much cooking, clearing up and much running in and out of our chalet by other chalet hosts on the hunt for ingredients etc. Our first morning consisted of our hosts coming into the chalet at 7,00am (6.00am UK time). 2 small children asleep, us all exhausted from working so hard to go on holiday. We were awoken by banging and crashing of plates etc as the hosts got to work prepping the days meals. We then had to ask them not to come in so early and to try to make less noise. The kitchen noises (dishwasher washing, plates in and out of cupboards, washing up etc) all travels right through the chalet. We returned to the chalet at about 4pm most days, and our hosts were busy once again cooking, cooking cooking and clearing the kitchen, much noise, which went on until approx 9pm every night. The food was super, but surely this could be prepped in a central kitchen situation and invasion of our holiday time / family time would be restricted and much less noise. It was absolutely impossible to relax. I had hoped that I would retire to the chalet each day for some time to relax having seen the skiers of the family off. Not a hope, cleaning and more cooking going on. We would definitely not repeat this experience. We all came home to sit and relax without all the crashing and banging going on. Equipment seems to be a problem for the hosts, no electric whisks, and general kitchen utensils that are essential. The catering operation is chaotic. But I do wish to reiterate Will and Ollie did their best to do what they were tasked with by VIP Ski. Bear Cubs was super, Lily looked after our two little ones and was absolutely super. Ally was a great help, than you Ally, as was Marc. All in all, not a bad experience, but we wouldnt come again with the same catering programme in place.
Excellent location, nice apartment, great dedicated service with Lottie and Henry.
We are just back from a fantastic week at Chalet kobuk in Avoriaz . Within walking distance to the town , ski hire shop, cafes , restaurants and main lifts our location was perfect . Jody and Gemma looked after us beautifully and nothing was too much trouble . How lucky were we to have plenty of snow and the best Christmas ever . We will be back
We spent Christmas at Bear Lodge and had an amazing week. Great hotel in every way - fabulous food, great facilities, can’t beat the ski in, ski out location and loved the convenience of the on-site ski rental. But what really made it special was the staff who couldn’t have been more helpful and were very much part of making our Christmas 2022 one to remember.
Bear lodge is in an excellent position for all standards of skiers - as you ski out of the boot room you have Marmottes and Bois de L'Ourss lifts within 100 metres. The bedrooms were bright and comfortable with the latest smart TVs where you can cast Netflix and prime video from your phone. The hotel has a spacious spa area with large pool, sauna, steam room and hot tub. The restaurant produced some great dinners and the staff were friendly and helpful. There is also a cinema room showing films twice daily. Special mention to Sam and Alex and the manager Murray and also Martha who cleaned our room. Only constructive criticism was a little more information would have been nice as we missed the fireworks in the village on Christmas Eve as didn't know about it but generally a really good holiday thanks all
