Testimonials

Clearly we think we're great, why come to work otherwise. But what do our customers say? We know that web sites are littered with anonymous out of date testimonials that it’s difficult to trust, but we're displaying comments written by our current and recent guests live, here on our web site. We're laying it bare, warts and all, and with the name of the writer attached. It’s not easy to look at yourself objectively, so don’t listen to us, listen to our guests.

  • Ski holiday

Staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a shame that one of the outdoor hot tubs was not working for the whole week. With a full 24 bed chalet, having only one working all week did limit the use. Also the steam room was not hot on the first couple of days when we went there after skiing at approx 5pm. Despite this we did enjoy our week- the weather was great. The only thing is that it’s not that easy to ski back to the chalet in the evening, however the buses are very efficient.

The staff were very welcoming friendly and helpful during our stay. The hotel was very well-appointed with a lovely pool and spa facilities. Our bedroom, though quite compact, was very comfortable and the staff were very thorough with cleaning whilst being entirely unobtrusive. I was surprised by a strange alarm which sounded whenever I went into the bathroom (five long blasts), which seemed to be associated with moving towards the toilet. perhaps this was a warning that the towel rail was hot? The resort was very well-organised and the pistes were in excellent condition throughout our stay. We had an early start to the airport on Sunday and it was lovely to be greeted downstairs at 5am with tea, warm croissants and a bacon sandwich!

We had an amazing week at chalet Sakami. Gen and Rosie kept the chalet looking beautiful and cooked us some lovely meals. My personal favourite was the carrot cake! They both took great care of us especially when we had a couple of injuries/mishaps! Gen even cooked us a soup for lunch when we stayed at the chalet one day due to some injuries and sickness. Already want to visit again, thank you.

What a fabulous week in Chalet Eiger in La Plagne. Imani was the most wonderful host and prepared so many delicious breakfasts and evening meals plus afternoon cakes. She was so thoughtful and considerate and nothing was too much trouble. Eiger suite is so beautiful and the hot tub on the balcony was the icing on the cake. What a wonderful week.

  • Family Holiday

Just returned from a fantastic week’s skiing / walking holiday in La Plagne with VIP Ski staying in the Jungfrau suite at the brand new Graciosa chalet. We were seven adults and three children of five and under and were extremely well looked after by our amazing chalet hosts Sam, Lily and Hannah, nothing was too much trouble and the food was to die for. We also used the Bear Cubs child care service which again was superb, so thanks again to Georgie and her team for looking after our two little ones so well. Also a big shout out goes to the concierge team who were brilliant with their logistics from start to finish, and special thanks go to Charlie, Benji, Fin and Ben for ferrying us back and forth to the village centre with consummate professionalism. Just before signing off there is one observation: a lack of hooks for the bath robes whilst using the muscle soothing hot tub. Finally, I have no hesitation of recommending the Grasioca chalet suites and VIP Ski in general, from my initial enquiry to the final goodbye their customer service has been second to none.

Great placement of hotel you can ski to the front door of hotel. Most of the staff are pleasant. Food was great only downside was the menu wasn’t what it was advertised as some nights. The facilities here were great and the hotel is exactly as advertised clean and luxurious. I would recommend this hotel you won’t be disappointed!!!

  • Great chalet and location

    M G 26 Jan 2026

Chalet Yogi - great chalet and this was our second time staying at Yogi. Worth mentioning; - It may be that the supplies manager was overwhelmed or let down by their supplier as we ran out of many things that maybe could have been solved with a trip to the supermarket. Throughout the week we ran out of butter, eggs, loo roll, orange juice, bread to name a few… and it seemed to take too long to get resolved. And as not all chalets had been booked I can only imagine the chaos if everything had been fully booked. We know not everything was fully booked as our locker was faulty and we had to use another chalets. - rooms 2 and 4 don’t appear to have hooks in their rooms meaning the occupants had to keep their ski gear on the hooks in the living room. This is all fine but the kitchen being in the living area meant all these clothes and the clothes worn in the evening smelt heavily of food. Darcy was great at preparing breakfast, specifically eggs! Thank you Darcy. Favourite meals were the Goan monkfish curry and the duck cooked by Liv and Darcy. Although several other meals were very similar to last years, I wonder if there couldn’t be more variety year on year to cater for returning guests. Soufflés could maybe removed from the menu as both savoury and dessert soufflés were flat, maybe the oven? The team and Liv sourced additional bottled water and Oatmilk for us, thank you Liv. We really appreciated being able to drive right up to the main door and the team taking in our bags before we parked in the underground car park. As always ski and ski out is fab with easy access to 4 lifts. Whoever was responsible for creating the steps outside, thank you, so much better than normal as we’ve been to Yogi and Bear Lodge 5 times. Lastly thank you to everyone staying with us in the chalet, we had great evenings together playing Werewolves. I hope this was helpful.
