    Great penthouse. Good experience. Some areas for improvement: - Recycling of waste - very disappointing to see so much waste of all kinds. Food plastics carboard and general waste all put into a small bin is not on in this day and age. - Ventilation - The management of heat within the bedrooms should be better. AC units would be more effort than keeping the balcony door open all night to cool down and letting all the hot air out the building. - Food - Is good but there could be some healthy options available. More raw veg nuts non alcoholic drink options etc. we have eaten the same for the last two years we would expect something different. Kids meals could be healthier pizza chips chicken nuggets is not great. - Misha Small Room - The bathroom is too small you cannot sit on the toilet seat as it is too close to the heater. - Children Cots - The mattresses are too big for the cot which make it uncomfortable. - Misha Bunk Bed Room - No heater to dry cloths or hangings space. - Hanging - generally insufficient space for hanging things except the hallway. - Men and Women’s Changing Facility Spa - Needs to have a changing table and children’s pen in the changing area. Insufficient hooks. - Spa Tiles - The tiles are very dangerous. There is going to be a serious accident from people or children slipping on the tiles around the spa. - Bear Club Staff - Great staff great service but they are understaffed! Isabell was fantastic great updates and very attentive mega kudos. - Snowy day offering was good.

    What a wonderful week we have had in Bellevarde 2. Ottalie and Gil were the perfect hosts. Always smiling and cooking delicious food for us all. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The chalet was in a great location and the transfer arrangements were really straight forward. Thank you VIP!

    Fantastic family stay for the second year in a row. So easy for a family of 5 with ESF on the door. Staff were brilliant as usual. Adult food was great only improvement I’d recommend is the kids menu, I don’t feel it’s up to scratch for kids.

    This is our 4th year at Bear Lodge which says it all. The hotel is well designed. The ski-in/ ski-out, the ski room, and hire facilities on-site, are excellent facilities. The pool and wellness centre also. We have always found the staff so lovely - friendly and helpful. This year the food was excellent (which has not always been the case!) - really great menus and dishes. We had two snow days where we were basically stuck in; we were provided with a simple lunch on both days, which was very unexpected and really very appreciated. Additional little touches -like fruit always available, water for the room, kettle in the room if you wanted it. Staff absolutely lovely - so friendly and everyone bends over backwards to help you. 2 areas that we thought could have been better:- the hosting was a very big group, initially 19 people with two ski instructors. We asked if they would split the group and they said they preferred not to. We think that 2 smaller groups, one faster than the other, would have been a better way of running the hosting. We do appreciate the hosting - it's a great way to help understand the resort and to meet other people who are keen skiers. We also thought it would be nice if in the broadcasts the concierge could alert us to things going on in the village. We nearly missed the ski jumping on Wednesday evening, which is a regular event. Somebody in the village told us about it. Despite mixed weather, We have had an excellent week, and thoroughly recommend Bear Lodge and VIP Ski.

Becca looked after us so well, she is a very talented chef cooking up delicious home cooked food for the children and us every day. The accommodation is lovely, clean and spacious with fantastic ski in ski out facilities and amazing ski school which meets just outside the boot room. We will be back x

    Brilliant. Right from arriving at our accommodation we were greeted by the staff welcoming us in. More than that, our luggage was delivered to outside our room. This was an excellent start. Throughout our stay I felt all the staff really did want to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Nothing seemed too much trouble. The food was excellent and plentiful. The room was spacious and was of a good standard. The layout of boot room, restaurant and other facilities was ideal. Well thought out. I have been skiing for over 35 years and for the cost is amongst the best value. Thank you VIP. If I can, I would certainly select a holiday with VIP.

  • Hotel has everything you need and great value for money

    We had a fantastic time, the hotel is perfect location on the piste right next to two of the main chair lifts. ESF and Intersport in house makes it very easy and convenient with children. Also an easy walk into 1950 which has some nice restaurants. The hotel is clean and in good condition. It has a good pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna. Staff were all very friendly, food was as you expect for this style holiday nothing fancy but what’s needed. Also super helpful they move all the luggage off the coaches and in and out of your rooms. Pillows are poor and mattresses is very hard. If you are in a room with bunks it is a little tight for space.
