Clearly we think we're great, why come to work otherwise. But what do our customers say? We know that web sites are littered with anonymous out of date testimonials that it’s difficult to trust, but we're displaying comments written by our current and recent guests live, here on our web site. We're laying it bare, warts and all, and with the name of the writer attached. It’s not easy to look at yourself objectively, so don’t listen to us, listen to our guests.

We had a lovely week at the redwood suite in aspen lodge, with our super chalet host Simon! Simon was very friendly, a great cook and left us a little note and riddle each day. He also came skiing with us and we had a great time. The chalet was lovely and the beds were very comfortable. The hot tub was the perfect finish to a long day skiing! Perfect location in the town centre, overall a beautiful week, would highly recommend and love to go back!
This is our second short break with VIP and once again we were impressed. Nothing is too much trouble for the chalet hosts. The chalet boasts a great piste side location, lively by day but tranquil by night. We were able to enjoy the après ski as well courtesy of the VIP bus who kindly collected us after the lifts stopped. Great little resort. Wish we could squeeze an extra weekend in again this year! Ps the hot chocolate here is the best in town!
Avoriaz is the perfect location - central to Porte du Soliel with easy access to resorts in Switzerland and Morzine/ Les Gets. Great shops, bars and restaurants and the only traffic are horse drawn sleds. However the best thing about Avoriaz was the chalet and two great hosts in Penny and Jeff. Jeff is a great "COOK" (he tells us he is not a chef) and both were great company and made you feel right at home. It was more like spending a week with old friends. The chalet was spotlessly clean and comfortable and had everything you needed to relax - sauna and large screen TV when needed for the rugby international. Best ski holiday I have had and will be back.
Chalet was good, food was good, host was good. Chalet was clean and tidy. Major drawback is that Aspen Lodge is no more than a pub with drunken Brits who think they can come and have a boozy ski holiday at everyone else's expense. We didn't sleep for 6 nights and raising the issue with VIP nothing was done about it. More free wine and champagne was offered which we didn't want. Clearly is is acceptable behaviour to the VIP clientele. We have booked with Le Ski, Scott Dunne, Powder Byrne and never had this problem in Val ever! VIP is a disgrace as they don't come close to living up to the word VIP in any conceivable way. In all my years we had never had to stop and pick up other guests from other resorts, with VIP we had to drop and collect at La Plagne. Also on departure we were told to be ready to leave at 5:10 - we finally left at 6am in the morning. Your company is a disgrace and you should remove or teach your people what VIP is/means if you want to use it in your name. Wish I took a picture of the chalet host with from Cedar Suite we met in the lift one morning who had at least 10 empty wine bottles from the night before and all she could say was - they drink a lot! VIP Ski is synonymous in my mind to drunken Brits with a VIP licence to do and an environment that supports and stimulates this culture especially in the Aspen Lodge property. Im sure my review won't be published as if you do people won't be warned when looking at your web site what nightmare awaits, so I will post if on Trip Advisor.
VIP SKI - It is to our enormous regret that you were not able to enjoy your holiday away with us in Val d’Isere. As was explained by our Operations Director in your conversation of yesterday, feedback of this ferocity is completely alien to us, and we reluctantly find ourselves unable to respond in any meaningful or constructive way. We apologise that we were unable to make your stay any more enjoyable. This is a relatively rare but nonetheless uncomfortable reminder that despite our very best endeavours, we do not appear to be able to satisfy all of our guests, all of the time. We regret this very much, apologise unreservedly for your disappointment and understand that you will not wish to travel with us again. As you can see, we pride ourselves on our transparency and so, despite your reservations, there is no need for our guests to seek your review on Tripadvisor or any of the other social media on which you have recently published comments about us, we are very happy to show your unredacted feedback here on our web site.
