Clearly we think we're great, why come to work otherwise. But what do our customers say? We know that web sites are littered with anonymous out of date testimonials that it’s difficult to trust, but we're displaying comments written by our current and recent guests live, here on our web site. We're laying it bare, warts and all, and with the name of the writer attached. It’s not easy to look at yourself objectively, so don’t listen to us, listen to our guests.

Great chalet, lots of fun, great cooking, kept the children entertained, loved the wine, canapes are great. Much better than all other ski companies.

  • End of season: incredible snow conditions and hospitality to match

Having stayed in a VIP chalet before, we weren't sure what we'd make of the Hotel Monjola. It provided both privacy and comfort whilst maintaining the VIP quality. Sarah the manageress is very efficient and welcoming; her guests want for nothing. The driver service from town was a fantastic addition - prompt and perfect idea for weary skiers. Our kids loved it and we felt spoilt, enjoying our evening meal while the children enjoyed Cocoa club - win, win. Although the room was cosy with a family of four in it, the communal areas of the hotel compensated for this. Good food although I did crave some less rich options at times. The children were also really well catered for. We enjoyed the one day of ski hosting we signed up for. Really good fun, very helpful and knowledgeable host (Jonny). We would have liked to do another day but Friday's hosting clashed with the kids ski school races on Friday. It would be great if Thursday were chosen as the final day of hosting instead. Overall cracking holiday - thank you VIP.

Overall a great holiday. The team of Matley and Tasha were fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble. By way of example, Tasha did the ski school run every morning which was pure bliss as parents and Marley was brilliant with both our children. Oxygene ski school we're really good and much better than our experience of the ESF The entertaining, food and wine was pitched at just the right level for us as we don't like it too OTT Apartment was very good and really well located, spacious and modern. The only areas for improvement would be that it would be nice to have bath robes, the apartment was tricky to control the heat and we do not like it too hot, the electrics were a bit odd/ French as the lights had to be on to charge our devices in the main bedroom, the bath taps were annoying as they don't have hot/ cold written on them, having a bath and washing your hair in the bath meant I had to borrow the kitchen measuring jug to rinse my hair as there is no shower attachment on the bath and in the master bedroom there is not a sit down area/ table to do make up and hair with a mirror at the right height (often a problem as I believe most hotel rooms are designed by blokes!). That said, a really lovely holiday - we shall return!

  • The best ski holiday experience ever!!

Over 20 years this was the without doubt the best chalet holiday we've experienced. The VIP team in London handled our booking with knowledge and efficiency. Transfers smooth. However what really made this holiday special were our hosts, Mo and Hugo and our nanny, Tasha. Nothing was too much trouble, the food was excellent with great choice at breakfast (Hugo's scrambled eggs/Mo's perfect nutella loaded pancakes). Hugo and Mo were always smiling, laughing and keeping us (and our children) entertained. They would leap out to welcome us when we returned from skiing to help with skis/boots and hand us a drink. Our kids adored them. They went out of their way to ensure we had a good time and catered for our every whim. Tasha looked after our children beautifully, always calm and organised and super fun to be with. My youngest son cried on his first morning back in England because he wanted to be back in Chalet Muscat. So did I. We miss you Hugo and Mo! A credit to VIP Ski.

  • Beautiful Chalet, great service, ski in-ski out

Although the transfer is always the worst part of the holiday there was a warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble for the VIP team. The chalet is beautiful, the food was excellent and, unlike other chalets I have stayed in, there is wine and beer available at all times, not just at dinner. It's a bit of a trek to the town, however you can ask for a lift, but for skiing it's perfect ski in-ski out. I would thoroughly recommend both the resort and the company.

Great holiday. Lots of late snow which was great. Friendly team as always. Couple of things to work on for next time: - House wine could be a little (lots) better - Please seat families (esp with young ones) together for the flights - lots of angst not needed as a result

We arrived to a very friendly welcome and pleased to find our apartment was right in the heart of the resort with stunning views overlooking the mountains. Sophie and Darren have been first class and the food delicious, they have made us feel completely at home and been great looking after the kids even organising a surprise Easter egg hunt to go with our afternoon tea. Thanks guys!

  • Really enjoyable but not across the board

    Ian Robinson 07 Apr 2015

1 Hotel Pretty good all round though some elements looked a bit tired. Our room was truly, very disappointing. 2/3rds the size of most others with neither bath nor balcony and no seating area. I do know that others were assigned to a next door building and I wonder whether we should have been offered this option ahead of the organisers/company reps though don’t know what the accommodation was really like. Our room was overwarm for most of the time which meant the windows had to be kept open wide throughout the night. It took 3 days to get our curtains fixed; they kept coming off the rail. Nobody had told Tom about the issues. There was a hole in the bottom sheet. On the other hand, Tom did fix the problems pdq once Abi made him aware. The room was kept very clean and the bedding & towels were well sorted by the housekeeping staff. It was always clean if not tidy. We made good use of the hot tub which was wonderful. 2 Food & drink These were both pretty fantastic. The dinners were generally very good with something to please most palates. If anything, there tended to be too much meat / fish and it could be a little overdone. That said, there is little to complain about breakfast, afternoon tea and 4 course dinners to finish particularly given the wines that went with them. Shame the ‘pink fizz’ ran out at the bar so early in the week. A welcome cup of tea was delivered to our room every morning. We were split into groups very early on and they remained for the rest of the week though it was said otherwise. It would have been nice to mingle with a slightly wider set of guests. 3 Staff All were very helpful and courteous. The hosting, by Johnny in our case, was a novel experience and he gave us good details about what was coming up on each run. That said, pit his 20 year old legs against my 60 and I would have appreciated at least the offer of a break now & then. When we needed a lift up from the town or advice about where to go when not hosted, it was never too much trouble. 4 Telegraph Week We enjoyed this to a degree but weren’t expecting it to be so full on. There was also a high level of wanting to be in the ‘in crowd’, to be near Graham Bell and I don’t think we were the only ones who felt as though it was a bit cliquey at times. We felt under a bit of pressure at times so bailed out of the ski groups for the most part. 5 Other It would have been nice to have been able to see the weekly show on the slopes. It seemed that some were able to eat early and attend but not the bulk of us. Maybe an option would have been for those that did want to go to have had a buffet dinner rather than the usual sit down affair. The ability to store skis at Intersport was very welcome. Transfer from / to the airport were seamless and we all appreciated that the staff

  • Fantastic all round holiday

Excellent food; delightful, obliging and helpful staff, well appointed bedrooms, the Molten Brown toiletries were a nice touch. Great shuttle service to & from Chalet and really handy being able to leave your ski's & boots near the lifts. Graham Bell was a big draw and the VIP/ Telegraph Team certainly delivered an excellent holiday. We would certainly go with VIP again.
