  • Perfect Week!

    We decided on a last minute family trip away and what a week we had! The chalet was spacious, clean & welcoming. Rosie gave us an extremely warm welcome, provided us with a wonderful canapés tailored to our needs and beautiful evening meals. Molly was also an excellent host, nothing was ever too much trouble the pancakes at breakfast are a must try! This was our second time at Bear Lodge but first time with a child. The location & facilities can not be faulted. From the ski hire downstairs to the wonderful guys (especially Michael) from ESF everything was fantastic! After nearly 20 years skiing with VIP the level of service is second to none. From the first contact with Jess in the office to departure at Geneva airport the whole VIP team work together to provide a seamless experience. Thank you all for another unforgettable trip we will be back!

    Becca in Grand Choucas (as well as Eliza who subbed-in for one day) was a fantastic host. The apartment is in a great location in town, a short walk up to the slopes. Everything in the apartment was spotless, the food was great, as was the wine and drinks offering. Becca's hard work really helped ensure we had a fantastic week on the slopes. Every member of the VIPSKI staff we met was professional, friendly, and organised - leading to a seamless trip. A great first experience with VIPSKI.

    This was the 4th or 5th trip I've booked at Club Bellvarde 3 and again we had a great time. As lead booker of our party of 24, there are elements of the booking journey that could have been easier but on the whole the service received was great. We choose Club Bellevarde as we love the location for both skiing and access to nightlife. The swimming pool and facilities are great and the chalet staff we're friendly and accommodating. A few areas which we felt were disappointing this year: The shuttle service starting at 4pm is too late. The majority of our group prefer to call it a day between 2 and 3pm and so I don't think anyone utilised the service this year. I understand there were previous issues with congestion but surely a pick up point could be agreed in advance that doesn't clash with the bus stop. The concierge service didn't feel as helpful this year. We tried to make several bookings for Coco's/restaurants and all were unsuccessful. Whilst we appreciate these are subject to availability, we had to continually chase for responses and no alternatives were offered. Again, we didn't utilise this service. Some constructive criticism. Having stayed at Club Bellevarde multiple times, the chalet is looking tired and in need of a refurb. The communal spaces (Lounge, Dining and Bar) all need upgrading. Some of the lighting didn't work and the dining tables need sanding and revarnishing. The bedrooms/en-suites could also benefit from a refurb. It would be great to upgrade the furnishings and install USB ports throughout. The swimming pool is also showing signs of wear of tear. The ceiling is peeling, the LED lights didn't work and the sauna's didn't work on the last day. The hot tubs could also do with some love. Some of the head rests need replacing and some of the jets don't work. It would also be great if they were moved a foot closer to the ballastrade, as melting snow dripping off the roof isn't great for anyone sat on that side of the hot tubs. On the whole the feedback is positive and constructive. We had a great trip and Eddy, James, Tom, Jojo, Amelie and Alex we're great hosts.

  • Val d'Isere 2025 Part Two.

    Travelled to Val for the second time this year but for the first time with VIP, which certainly met with all our expectations. Firstly lets get the negative bit out of the the way... the bedroom really was very small for two grufty men...realistically room 1 is not big enough to be a twin room. The service, hospitality and friendliness shown by all the VIP staff really was excellent. The resort drivers we met, Harry, Sam, Max and Tom were always on time and extremely helpful. Grace and Nicky (and Jake) our chalet hosts really were exceptional. The food we had was varied, really well cooked and presented and always served with a smile!!! They were helpful with any issues or what was going on in the resort and were always happy to support the many drinking establishments in Val!! An excellent team at VIP headed up by Georgie and obviously Ali ( the two We met) really did have such a positive impact on our holiday. Well done and many thanks to you all.

    We were one of four couples in Suite Yogi during our ski week. We loved the convenience of the ski in / ski out and the location was perfect. We were impressed by the size of the communal areas (which did mean bedrooms were a little smaller than expected) but we were barely in them so that was a plus. And the chalet felt very cleanly at all times, with then hosts leaving the kitchen in fab shape. A few things that we noticed in comparison to other ski chalet experiences - there was no menu provided ahead of time / start of the week, we only were told what was on offer for the day when we asked, this gave no option for any changes to the menu. Several of our group had eaten the exact menu before in other VIP chalets. If I had any criticism, we felt breakfast was limited, in other resorts we've had a "breakfast special" and fruits / yoghurt etc. but the fry up did fuel us up for the day ahead. The communal spa area was fantastic - we used it every day. On the penultimate day unfortunately there was a problem in the plant room so the jacuzzi didn't work, and the sauna was too hot / pool cold. We also had an issue in the chalet with a leak in the kitchen / cupboard and no power on our last night, but several VIP team members did try to solve this for us. Overall, with the weather as good as it was, we had a great week.

    Had a lovely family holiday in spacious chalet with Poppy, an excellent host. The food standard was amongst the highest we have experienced in a chalet holiday. Travel around Avoriaz was great fun via the horse-drawn carriages and ski-in/ski-out location excellent, and the views were outstanding. Main improvements we would suggest would be a hot tub, especially if outside (VIP used to have many of these in the old days) and better wine. The selection always becomes difficult to drink after a couple of days - but we are fussy wine drinkers Minor matters; always have had pastries/ croissant for day-off breakfast, and towel robes in the bathroom, but not this time

    VIP ski have given our party a fantastic week in club 21 forty , what a chalet ! And what a team looking after us . This is our fourth year with vip and this one stands head and shoulders above the others in every way . The booking and constant back and forth to Louise and Millie was dealt with perfectly and then any queries or requests were dealt with in resort by Jess and the team in the same great way .two things would have been the icing on the cake , the pool needs to be warmer as does the hot tub , a tub with no lid isn’t a hot tub for very long ….

  • A Truly Complete Holiday Package

    From start to finish we could not have more happy with the support and contact with VIP staff to deal with all our needs for a perfect family holiday. The accommodation was ideal for our three generations of family with only one small complaint about the chalet's general cleanliness given that we had a baby crawling around the floor. I really believe that a more thorough deep clean should be done between changeovers by a separate team of cleaners as our host Paul really could not manage this on his own given all his other duties. Our chalet host Paul provided us with wonderful meals throughout our stay and he was very good with our baby grandchild's needs even down to some great interaction with her. The location was perfect with easy access to the slopes & lifts and the spa facilities made for a perfect end to a day's skiing. I am sure we will be booking again for next year.
