Clearly we think we're great, why come to work otherwise. But what do our customers say? We know that web sites are littered with anonymous out of date testimonials that it’s difficult to trust, but we're displaying comments written by our current and recent guests live, here on our web site. We're laying it bare, warts and all, and with the name of the writer attached. It’s not easy to look at yourself objectively, so don’t listen to us, listen to our guests.

Unfortunately only a short break but what a way to spend a few days sunshine, luxurious spotlessly clean chalet and Rebecca our delightful, friendly, wonderfully efficient hostess. VIP in every way. Thank you Rebecca and enjoy the rest of the season, carry on doing what you are doing and your future guests will have a great time.
This is our second trip with VIP, we will be back and we will recommend them to others as they have always ensured we have had a perfect stay. The chalet Petit Choucas is ideal for a family or small group of friends (note one room is small with bunk beds) and has everything that is needed to make the stay an incredibly pleasant one. From the wifi, to the british freeview TV, to a massive bath and wonderful shower, a vast lounge area and huge boot locker (with boot heaters) nothing is overlooked. The chalet has a wonderful view of the mountain (but unfortunately not the piste) and is less than 30 seconds walk to main shopping area, 2 mins to Oxygene ski hire (although these guys delivered and collected our kit), and to the buses (should you need them), and about 3-5 mins to the main lift system. However what really made the holiday a relaxing and pleasant one was our chalet host Yas. Always bright and bubbly, and brilliant with our little one. She prepared a fantastic breakfast to kick off the day, a vast arrange of cakes for afternoon tea, and then a fantastic evening meal. The food was plentiful and lovingly prepared, and quantities sufficient to mean that we never had room for the cheese board! We also used the services of the VIP nanny, and were blessed with Polly. The best way to sum up Polly is simply wonderful! Seb clicked with Polly immediately, and through the week had a whale of a time. As well as being taken to, and collected from ski school, activities included baking, visiting to the indoor play area, trips up the mountain via cable car and train, and loads of arts and crafts work. At the end of the week we were presented with a lovely holiday diary that Seb had made with Polly, this will be treasured. The hosting from Yas, nannying from Polly and the whole VIP experience have meant we have had another fantastic and stress free week, we will be back next winter! Thank you :-)
We booked witihin 48 hours of departure so recieved a fantastic price. I had not travelled with VIP before and was wary of the grading of the Hotel and also the standards of the food due to previous experiences and i had no need to worry about this at all. The hotel whilst away from the town is perfect. Quiet enough yet on the fringe of everything. The chauffeur car is quick regular and on call if needs be between 8 am and 8 pm after that and your on your own but taxis are a plenty. One of the many issues we find with chalets and hotels is that the staff are normally overworked and unhappy. This simply didnt seem to be the case at the Montjola. They genuinely seemed to love doing what they did. Joining in well and interacting with guests of all various ages and characters it was nice to see some of the younger staff feeling as comfortable and confident as they were. We were fortunate for almost spring climates so every day was wonferful skiing weather. A little slushy on some days late in the day but this is nothing to do with VIP. We went on the tour guide on 2 of the 3 days and this was a good blast. On the first day i went with Chris ( joker and a boarder). A non stop laugh for everyone at a moderate yet comfortable pace. Really nice guy who again genuinely enjoys what he is doing whilst at the same time ensuring all of his guest were enjoying themselves as well. On the second guide day we opted to go with Toby.( Skieer and no messing about) Quick fire runs no stopping meet you at the bottom or wait at the top and off you go again. Think we covered 30km before lunch. After lunch i sneaked off back to Chris's group claiming it was to go to the ice bar but it was in fact to rest my legs... Food at the hotel was very good. Cooked breakfasts that didnt hold back as well as cereals and other bits and bobs. Cakes i am afraid to say i never made it back from KK, Basecamp or Moose in time but from other guests i heard they were very good. Dinner every night was very good. The food was cooked and presented well and the chef had some unusual combinations which shouldnt have worked but were fantastic. (Hence im not a chef) Wine Wine and Wine. Unlike other chalets i have been to who clear the wine off the table the moment you finish off the last piece of desert this certainly didnt happen at the Montjola. The wine kept flowing and there was no issue retiring to the lounge with a bottle or 2. I would highly recomment the Montjola and VIP. The only thing that could make this hotel perfect would be a slightly larger spa facility as the small hot tub was full every night unless you went at unsociable hours. Thank you VIP and to all the staff ( too many to list and dont want to miss one person off) also to the fellow guests this week whom made my stay one of my top 3 ski trips so far.
