Our luxury self-catered ski chalets

Historically all of our ski holidays were fully catered, and guests often find this is a cost-effective way to ski. But we do understand many people prefer the flexibility of self-catered ski chalets. We do occassionally offer a selection of our chalets in our French resorts on a self-catered basis (on request and subject to availability).

Opting for self-catered accommodation allows you to cook what you want, when you want. No pressure to dress for dinner, you can eat supper in your pjs if you so wish. All of our self-catered  chalets have a fully equipped kitchen including hob, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer and dishwasher so you can control the ingredients, portions or cooking methods if that is necessary for you or family members who may have dietary requirements. You can keep to your own routine or break out and try your hand at a local dish such as tartelette or boeuf bourguignonne, or for those with a sweet tooth, maybe a tarte au citron.

Booking a self-catered chalet give you complete privacy and the flexibility to come and go as you please on your ski holiday, eat when you want and what you want. Enjoy your own space, relax and set your own holiday timetable.

Exploring the resort can be one of the exciting elements of being on a self-catered ski holiday. With our catered chalets you only have one evening to sample the local delicacies, with a self-catered ski chalet, you can eat out every night if you so wish. There are many restaurants in each of our resorts if you don’t fancy cooking and want to enjoy the local cuisine, some restaurants also offer a takeout or delivery service too.

The local supermarkets Spar, Carrefour, Sherpa and Casino stock most items you will need for your self catering ski holiday. Sherpa now offer an online shopping and delivery service so you can plan your menu, shop online and have everything delivered directly to the chalet on your arrival.
