10 things you could do instead of voting for VIP SKI

We’ve been nominated for another travel award.

This time, it’s The Times and Sunday Times Travel Awards - which is rather lovely. We’re a small independent ski company, so finding VIP SKI on a list alongside some of the biggest names in travel never gets old.

This would normally be the point where we ask you to vote for us. Except we’ve just done that. And we know that awards voting can require rather more commitment than one innocent little click.

So instead, we thought we’d suggest a few things you could do with those ten minutes...

1. Make a cup of tea.
And actually drink it while it’s hot.

2. Work out how many weeks it is until your ski holiday.
Even if you already know.

3. Find your ski gloves.
One will be exactly where you left it. The other has entered another dimension.

4. Check whether last year’s ski trousers still fit.
Actually, perhaps don’t.

5. Start thinking about where you should ski next winter.
Entirely coincidentally, we know some lovely places.

6. Decide that this is definitely the year you’ll travel with less luggage.
It isn’t.

7. Start a WhatsApp discussion about where everyone should ski next winter.
Ten minutes won't be remotely sufficient.

8. Plan six nights of chalet dinners.
Our new Choose Your Chalet Menu is ready to browse. Choosing between the dishes may take considerably longer than ten minutes.

9. Do absolutely nothing.
Highly underrated.

10. Book another ski holiday.
Admittedly, we have a slight vested interest in this one.

Of course, if you genuinely fancy working your way through the Times Travel Awards, we’re delighted to be nominated. But you certainly don’t owe us a vote.

Every time someone chooses VIP SKI for their holiday, comes back the following winter, recommends us to a friend or brings another generation of the family along, it tells us far more than an awards trophy ever could.

Although, just for the record, we do quite like trophies.
