This is about our 4th or 5th VIP holiday and the first in Aspen Lodge (I think it was number 7). Our chalet host Lucy was very good. The Lodge was fine but a little tired. Things like the extractor fans in the main bedroom bathroom didn't work and we had to get the lamps fixed. Everything in resort was pretty much as expected and that was fine. It was the travel that was awful. Firstly we didn't know the BA flight was chartered and not scheduled until we turned up. There was a problem with the ticketing so no one was booked onto the flight. This meant we queued for over an hour and my family of 5 was disbursed throughout the flight. On the way back we were delayed 2.5 hrs then on arrival they couldn't open the cargo doors so we had further delay. Further to this, on the bus on the way in I heard the concierge on the phone say we would slow down 15 or twenty minutes so that the team would have time to meet us at the resort. Given its already over 3 hours and horribly sickly on a coach, I was fed up that she would do this to us and told her so. Indeed, on the way back, some children were sick in the bus and we are had to stop whilst they changed clothes and mopped up sick so it's an example of why you should not extend an already horrible bus journey so you can get your administration sorted. In short, we felt VIP was perhaps going down market with poor travel arrangements and a feeling that we were being treated as cattle rather than people. We will think again before a 6th time. Point is we would not have even thought of going elsewhere but will look at alternatives next year.

Very enjoyable VIP experience in Lech from the warm welcome on arrival to the luggage being taken from the rooms on departure everything was handled in an effortless and cheerful manner. Credit to everyone working there. The breakfast and dinner options were great and with a high quality main course each evening a highlight. The hotel was also very family friendly and a big thank you to Megan for a very reassuring childcare service. Looking forward to something similar next year!
Second visit this season and another excellent holiday. Great and polite staff who could never do enough for you. Once again food fantastic and ski hosting first class. Roddy always knew where to find the best snow - especially after lunch - ha ha. Just a little negative = hot tub too small and would be better if children weren't allowed to play in it. Steam room was out of action for the whole week which was disappointing. Thanks for a great holiday.
We were very pleasantly surprised at the service and attention to detail from all the staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent, the hotel comfortable and clean. It was the first time we had used VIP, we usually do everything independently. It was good value for money and we felt relaxed and looked after.
We really enjoyed our week in St Anton with VIP. The food was delicious, the staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful and the skiing was great too. A big thank you to Will, Rachel and the team at Montjola.
This was our first skiing trip with VIP SKI following a few years with YSE, and in short - it was a huge success. So much so that we will not be returning to YSE and would very much like to rebook the same apt/chalet for the same week next year - which I think is the week commencing the 25th March 2018. Our three children absolutely loved it, and having the downstairs facilities was a great success. Other little things such as the 'Ski Bucket' service, the concierge, and proximity to the high street and ski hire shop all made for the best weeks skiing that we have had as a family. Finally, and by no means least - Charity was simply exceptional and a complete credit to VIP SKI. Her hospitality, willingness to help, cooking, friendliness and general organisation was second to none. Sarah who was the children's nanny for the week was also utterly brilliant and her patience and calmness with our three kids was first class. In conclusion - both my wife and I and our three children miss them both already and we have only been back 24 hours! If someone could come back to me with regards to next years booking I would be very grateful. I had dealt with Millie Lovering prior to our trip who was a complete star and please convey our gratitude to her for enabling such a wonderful week. When we had a 'touch base' call from Natalie the night before we flew to Alpe D'Huez the bar was raised, then lovely touches like soft drinks and snacks during the transfer - we never carried a case and even hire skis were brought back to the chalet for us. VIP offer a superb standard of service thats such a refreshing change for a chalet ski package.. The chalet was lovely - a home from home and brilliantly placed for ski in ski out.. The icing on the cake for VIP really is the team - with Natalie and Ben nothing was too much trouble - from organising restaurants, helicopter transfers and just checking everything was ok with us, they are so professional.. Our in-chalet team Jamie, Ella and Helen tended to our every need - from a cup of tea in bed first thing to delicious food and wines every night.. THANK YOU to the team and VIP - we will be back and I'd highly reccomend you...
