That this was my fourth or fifth VIP holiday is testament to the continuing high standards offered by you, and I am glad to say these standards were maintained this week. In particular, the staff were as polite and helpful as ever. Ellie left my room spotless each day, service in the restaurant (particularly Bex and Becky) was excellent, and Murray was ever available and ever helpful. The food was wonderful, and the facilities great. The team running the shuttle were faultless in their accommodating pick up requests, helping with skis etc. 10/10 for the team overall.
It wasn't perfect however. My room (306) had some issues. I was kept awake by noise from the bar on two occasions. No issue with people enjoying themselves but the noise shouldn't carry to rooms at full volume. The room is also below the drive, so you also get a lot of disturbance from above (snow clearing, driving etc). Obviously these activities must happen, but please be aware that it can get frustrating below.
I think it would be good if guests were politely asked to remove their ski boots in the boot room, rather than in the lounge/reception area, when you give the welcome briefing. It's not much fun walking through piles of snow on your way to the bar, when a facility has been made available for ski boots.
Finally, despite my positive comments on the shuttle service above, please ask the drivers not to use their mobile phones when driving. It made me distinctly uncomfortable watching the driver trying to steer and change gear with one hand, whilst trying to avoid pedestrians and other cars on a crowded, narrow, snow-covered road. For all I know such driving may also be illegal.
Overall, though, I had a great team and no doubt will be staying with VIP again.
