    Our Chalet host Harriet was simply outstanding. Nothing was too much, Harriets attention to detail was excellent and her cooking skills were the best we have ever had. Highly recommended by a group of hard to please adults. Simply the best.

    Firstly I would like to draw your attention to my Trip Advisor review dated 19 January 2018. As we have come to expect VIP always hit the nail on the head striking the perfect balance of quality, luxury and value for money. I truly think what makes VIP so exceptional and sets them apart most of all is the quality of their staff, everyone was so helpful, friendly, professional and personable, they really are a great asset to your company. As a result our holiday was seamless and superb in every regard. Also many thanks to the back of house staff, everything was well kept, clean and the food was sublime. Thank you all so much.

    Lack of Chalet information given at 'so called welcome drink' It would of been helpful to be advised about hot tub and sauna Found out there was English channels on tv by another guest on last evening. Normally TV is not considered but having such bad weather it would of been passed an hour or two!! Food was ok but nothing special I would like to commend chalet host Lise who I feel kept the chalet running Maybe more staff training

    When we arrived at the chalet there was no one there to great us and we spent about 20 minutes struggling to get into the chalet. The rooms were very small and I was disappointed that when the busses shut down due to too much snow that the concierge did not amend their hours to work later as this happened on a Wednesday where the entire chalet was told they had to eat out (as the staff were off) and therefore everyone had to pay for a taxi back to the chalet which were expensive. Also our rooms were not made up for the majority of our stay ( they were made up on one day ) which is why there would never be a 5 star rating and even reluctant on the 4 star as food was pretty basic (not big breakfasts, ran out of mushrooms on the one day) does not serve lunch and then dinner was nice. Due to the snow it was also very difficult to get in and out of the chalet with a couple of people falling into deep snow in the process. the jacuzzi was also not working on the first day and didn't work on another day while we were there. Overall I had expected a lot more the website made the chalet look a lot better than what it was.

    The location is superb and the addition of the leisure facilities has enhanced what was already some of the best chalet facilities we have experienced. Food was excellent and with copious quantities of wine and beer available it was truly suberb. However the best thing about the holiday was the people we met, the ability to meet new people in such a great environment is what the Club experience is all about.

  • Good service and company was never more appreciated

    During a week when Val weather closed all the lifts on one day and made most of the other days tough, hard skiing, being able to come back to the welcome, warmth, great food and company provided at Muscat made up for the hardship. The staff were absolutely wonderful; friendly, knowledgeable and ever helpful. But please VIP, provide better wines; given the kind of people who come to you, I think you're making a false economy. The chalet has a separate ski locker and covered, but open air, place to get rigged up; no daily sauna as one puts on one's boots! Our room was cosy (others might call it small) but with ample storage for all but a diva, and the en suite was great. Both could be heated and ventilated independently. There are wonderful views from the massive windows in the main open plan area. The chalet is a short walk uphill from the main Navette stop, but only required if you don't time it right to get VIP's own shuttle service in the afternoon. If you want to ski back to the chalet, counter-intuitively, you need to do so from the Bellevarde side. Thank you Ella, Nicola and Rhys for making our stay so enjoyable.

  • Another great week with VIP

    We had a great week with VIP in The Farmhouse. Will and Poppy looked after us incredibly well. They were welcoming from the off and made us feel at home. The food was delicious and the guys were great with the dietary requirements that some of our company had. We really enjoyed the steam room and pool as well. One minor flaw was that one person in our group found that their mattresses was quite old and at times a little uncomfortable, which VIP may want to update at some point. Otherwise a perfect week!

  • Family ski holiday.

    This being our first holiday with our small grand children ,it needed to be suitable for them and the rest of the family. Aspen Lodge ,Val D’Isere and particularly Martin at the Hawthorne gave us this. The accommodation was great;warm,spacious and clean. Location?spot on ,straight off the Main Street into the lodge..we particularly enjoyed the communal area down stairs ,where you could go with the children and enjoy the evening ,with a few drinks before dinner. The Hot tubs were just the thing everyone needed after a hard day skiing on enormous amounts of snow. So to our Chalet host Martin. He was absolutely brilliant,with 2 children under 2,He made food suitable for them which they thoroughly enjoyed.All the meals we had were delicious and plenty to go around. How he manages in the tiny kitchen he works in is a miracle,but he does. During the week we had 3 birthdays,each person picked the cake of their choice for afternoon tea,and when we returned from the piste, they were done,fabulous touch. So all in all a great trip,well done to Andy and his team at Aspen Lodge,but a huge Thanks to Martin for looking after us all week.
