Just finished a fab week at Bear Lodge as part of the Graham Bell week.
Transfers to and from the airport very easy, free chocolate and fruit available for the journey.
Hotel itself was very nice and modern. Only thing I would say is that in a standard room there is not an awful lot of space so we had to store baggage downstairs once we had unpacked. But a great balcony overlooking the slopes and the 2x chairlifts within 10 seconds skiing distance from the boot room. Lovely steam room and sauna available too which were very welcome after a long day on the mountain. Murray (hotel manager) and Gareth (VIP SKI) get top marks from us. Both professional yet good fun at the same time. Food was great, you choose from a menu for the following evening, good variety of choice. We hired skis from the village but reports from other guests were that the arrangements for hire of equipment at Bear Lodge was seamless, and you are put in a virtual queue and notified when they are ready for you, rather than everyone hanging around down there. Bar prices reasonable but we mainly drank the wine which accompanied the dinner. All staff very friendly, special mention to Martha who was our favourite and always smiley and in good spirits.
This was our first VIP SKI holiday having done crystal and club med ones in the past, but after this week in Bear Lodge, we will certainly either return again to Bear Lodge, or check out other VIP SKI resorts next time round.
Thanks again for a great holiday.
