The positives. The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful both pre trip and on the holiday. The room was a good size and well appointed. The room, and hotel in general, were kept clean and tidy. The driver service worked well bar one evening. Dinner was generally good and wine decent. The negatives: The beds were hard and the pillows soft which meant a week of poor sleep. Little consideration was made for the dietary requirements of the pregnant members of our party which was disappointing given we advised on this in advance. Breakfast was poor quality and needs improving. Made use of the ski hosting but found it frustratingly stop start. The hot tub, while pleasant, was often full as it is too small for a hotel of this size. Overall it didn't match our prior experience of VIP chalets. I'm not sure i'd stay at the Montjola again. As for St Anton. Fantastic off piste and the apres is fun. Lech/Zurs are beautiful ski areas. However found the split up nature of the ski area frustrating for racking up serious piste mileage.
We take all feedback very seriously and whilst I am pleased to hear that you enjoyed your holiday, I am sorry to hear we failed to meet your expectations in certain areas. Second year in a row at the Montjola and another memorable holiday was had. Can't fault the quality of the hotel, service, food (and drink!)! The staff there are fabulous and do an excellent job! I will be booking the trip again for next year and can't wait to be back! Well done VIP Ski
