    We had a great week. Our chalet host, Ben, was absolutely fantastic. He was an excellent cook, very pleasant to spend time with and couldn't do enough for us. He had the additional challenge of cooking kids' supper and accommodating two vegetarians and did it all to a very high standard and always with a smile. He made delicious and varied meals for the children from scratch. The adult dinners were faultless. He happily re-arranged beds, lighting and bedding for us and we all enjoyed chatting to him in the evenings. We couldn't praise him highly enough! Our only complaint was the excessive heat in the chalet, which we managed by keeping doors/windows open a lot. This was not practical at night, however, because of the noise. We have experienced this issue before in Aspen Lodge. If nothing can be done about the heat, please could you look at changing the bedding. The duvets are very heavy, so we all ended up removing them and using small blankets over the duvet covers. Please could you supply lighter duvets or sheets and blankets. The flights worked well. It was nice not having them too early but a bit earlier would be ideal to avoid late arrivals in resort and returning home. We didn't take the transfer to Val but the return transfer was great. Very comfortable.

    Overall was a really fun experience, loved having the open areas but was really good to have your own private area too. Thank you so much for altering the menu for my food habits although I would strongly recommend including higher protein meals and more carbs

    We have thoroughly enjoyed a family holiday with three generations staying at Le Manoir. The facilities in the chalet are all excellent. Emily and James have taken great care of all of us. The meals have been superb, nothing has been too much trouble. The children have enjoyed personal care with Michael and Cassie that has also been superb. Emily and James are excellent ambassadors for VIP. We have truly had a 5 star experience and we will be returning next year.

    We have had a great family holiday, the chalet is very good in a good central location, the staff (Becky & Dan) have been great, we have been well looked after. The chef, Lee, has prepared us all very good food, including a 1 year old, we looked forward to dinner after a hard day on the slopes.

    We had an unusual experience because, an hour into my skiing on day one I twisted my knee helping my son on the nursery slope, detached my cruciate ligament and that was my skiing done for the week! Because of this I got more benefit than most from the chalet and VIP's hospitality. To compound issues another one of our party injured herself on day one too. Will Cowper the resort manager proved invaluable, initially ferrying us to the Medical centre and pharmacy, as well as helping with children's ski kit and then latterly ferrying me to their sister chalet/hotel 'Altitude Lodge' in Les Gets (where I could sit in comfort with a glass in hand and watch the children ski past, occasionally in control!). The chalet itself is in a great location in Morzine, right on the slopes and a short hobble from town if you have the energy. It's a great size so I never felt penned in and the staff were great. We were all massively impressed with the cooking skills of Grace and Ed. Throughout the trip whenever we came into contact with VIP staff, they could not have been more friendly or helpful. Overall for a skiing trip where I didn't ski I still had a great holiday and my family, who had a more conventional time, can't wait to come back.

    Beautiful chalet, super clean and gorgeous food. All the staff were so friendly and attentive and in particular our chalet hosts Katie and Sophie were fantastic, so helpful and warm, really lovely girls. Would definitely recommend VIP Chalets.

    overall a good week again with VIP. We liked the spacious lounge area of Marielaine although the bedrooms and especially the bathrooms were a bit snug! All fully functional though. Our host Mo was superb, always really welcoming, able to accommodate our requirements and great with the children which really makes a difference. The food was always presented well and tasted fantastic. One of our party was gluten-free and Mo's efforts in adapting the dishes was particularly appreciated.
