We've been skiing in Val for a long time and latterly with catered chalet companies. This was the first time with VIP and I have to say that all their staff from booking to departure were very helpful, accomodating and above all very proactive in dealing with and helping on any matter that came up. We were probably exceptions , not flying from one of the usual airports , but from accomodating skis and boots in Geneva airport to coordinating transfers to suit, they couldn't have done better . Any small problem in the chalet was attended to immediately. We completed the return transfer and check in on Sunday morning within three and a quarter hours , must be a record ! Food and drink were good quality and plentiful and the free offers in the reception bar an added bonus. Location was first class. Constructively a couple of suggestons - there was no explanation/verbal guide to Val and its benefits during the transfer or in the chalet itself eg traine rouge, different uplifts and how to benefit from them , Chevaillot bakery next door to Aspen, benefits of Carre Neige etc . Some of our fellow guests had not been to Val before and would have benefitted from this kind of info and as well as guides, maps , directories in the chalet. Some of these were available in reception but one didn't have to go there and there availability was not generally made known . All easily rectified I hope. The bedroms and bathrooms were excellent ( shower especially ) but the living room seating left a bit to be desired in the comfort stakes - maybe an incentive to get out into the town ! We will be benefitting from VIP again
Thank you to our hosts for the wonderful food and courteous service. Chalet is new and very nice, rooms good, plenty of hot water, loved the mezzanine to sit and read on a snowy day/rest day. Great ski in - ski out chalet.
Every part of our VIP experience has been faultless. From booking to arriving back in the UK everything ran smoothly. The chalet and spa area was clean and in good working order; we had a small fault with our bedroom door but this was quickly resolved. The food was excellent, the team worked well as a team and nothing was too much trouble for them. Our glasses were always topped up and always served with a smile. Having stayed with VIP for over 12 years and stayed in Club Bellevarde previously this certainly will not be the last time. Well done to the whole team who made our holiday such a fantastic week, one to definitely remember.
