Clearly we think we're great, why come to work otherwise. But what do our customers say? We know that web sites are littered with anonymous out of date testimonials that it’s difficult to trust, but we're displaying comments written by our current and recent guests live, here on our web site. We're laying it bare, warts and all, and with the name of the writer attached. It’s not easy to look at yourself objectively, so don’t listen to us, listen to our guests.

  • Meribel for my 30th

    Mark Tomkinson 22 Jan 2015

Recently returned from a week skiing in Meribel, staying at Refuge Boua for my 30th birthday. The resort itself is superb, brilliant skiing, Après and fantastic access across the Three Valleys. VIP as a company did a great job. All of the logistics were faultless, the experience in that respect is one I would repeat next year without hesitation. The Chalet we stayed in was great for what we needed, the Ski-In/Ski-Out location was just perfect after a day falling down the mountains. The rooms were clean and perfectly decent in terms of size, all with nice en-suites. The living room is a good size and the terrace and Jacuzzi were great. I would strongly encourage the owner to invest in a new TV/DVD set-up, it didn't really work when we wanted to relax and watch films and doesn't do justice to the rest of the set-up. What set this holiday apart, aside from the location, were our chalet hosts. As a gang of 10 lads we ran out of superlatives for how we were treated by Rosie and Ruby during our stay. Between the two of them they ensured we had such a memorable holiday. The food was delicious, way better than many London restaurants and very creative, they can really cook. They joined in and both have a great sense of humour, their organization skills were spot-on, any issues were met with a plan of action and not once did they show the signs of two ladies that had been encouraged by their guests to share a couple of glasses of wine and perhaps hadn't had the recommended 8 hours sleep. They work so hard it is impressive, but the attitude towards us never changed. It was always polite and respectful with a healthy dose of witty banter. Bear in mind this is to an audience of 10 lads keen to consume their own weight in wine. They explained the rules and in the most part they were kept to primarily because the party respected them both fully. In short, I couldn't have asked for two more impressive hosts for my 30th, they played a huge part in what will be memories that stay with us all, but especially me, for a long, long time. Thank you ladies, it was an absolute pleasure and I hope you enjoyed managing such an unruly wolf-pack.

We spent one week in the Madrisah Chalet, I am happy to say that it was the best ski holiday that we have been on. Will and Athene are truly excellent hosts, they couldn't do enough for us. The chalet is immaculate and the food was outstanding! Such a fun week, we will definitely be back!

Sorry I am sending this feedback so late. We managed to have a truly brilliant holiday with no snow before Xmas - how did Jo and Adam manage it? Well, with great food, exceptional attention to detail, superb company and kids kept permanently entertained …. what is there not to love! Looking forward to coming back soon. Thank you Adam & Jo. You were wonderful company and did a fabulous job with us under your feet all week. Truly wonderful. Hope the rest of the season goes well.

This was our third visit to Alpe d Huez with VIP SKI. From the moment we arrived to be met by Stuart, who organised our lift passes for the next morning, the chalet staff Bryony, Cissie and Becca who excelled in looking after all the chalet guests throughout our weeks stay. Great food, superb staff, excellent holiday.

Excellent hosts - very professional, experienced, friendly and fun. Jeff is the best cook we have had in 15 years of holidaying with VIP. The chalet was well located. It was great upstairs in the kitchen/dining/sitting area but the bedrooms (bar the double) were pokey. You advertise them as being 'undeniably compact' but I would say they were bordering on the claustrophobic, and two are subterranean.

  • *** Better than our wedding day! ***

What an amazing holiday we all had staying in the Chalet du Bois in Morzine ... better than our wedding day. We arrived to not alot of snow which meant we couldn't originally ski in ski out.. but who needed snow anyway because Adam and Jo were absolutely fantastic (the most caring hosts we had ever had)and did everything we asked and so much more. The food was spectacular, highlights being the very yummy chocolate guinness cake and the beef. The chalet is within very close distance to everything and of a very high standard. We all wished we could stay forever. Thanks for an amazing holiday.

  • Excellent once again

    Suzy Andrews 19 Jan 2015

Our 14th VIP holiday (out of 27) didn't disappoint. Chalet Poudreuse is very well located and a surprisingly pretty chalet in Avoriaz. Great decision by the authorities not to have cars in the town, just sleighs and the odd 'rat trap' or piste-basher thing to take you and your luggage. Chalet has wonderful picture windows in the large living area. "Gif and Pinny" were great, mature Kiwi hosts - Geoff's an excellent cook; and Penny a wonderfully warm host. Some of the boys felt the rooms were on the small side (but it is France) but the catering, the location, views and the spacious living areas more than made up for that.

  • And then the snow came

Yet another excellent VIP ski holiday, however we had been under the impression that Indiana was a "superior' chalet and so it was disappointing that a) our beds were single and not strapped to make a double / single duvets b) The shower arrangements in the bath made it only possible to have a standing shower holding the head by hand c) Lighting in bedroom poor- impossible to look into wardrobe without a torch d) General lighting in main room dim e) Nose level from speakers in main room readily heard on top floor bedroom None of these issues could have been remediated by the truly super chalet staff/hosts (Robyn and Ameen) who were a delight - food was excellent Drivers were much more helpful than in previous years - seemed more professional and knowledgable skiers
