Clearly we think we're great, why come to work otherwise. But what do our customers say? We know that web sites are littered with anonymous out of date testimonials that it’s difficult to trust, but we're displaying comments written by our current and recent guests live, here on our web site. We're laying it bare, warts and all, and with the name of the writer attached. It’s not easy to look at yourself objectively, so don’t listen to us, listen to our guests.

In general the hotel wasn't up to the Vip standard we have experienced elsewhere. In particular the food was disappointing, both breakfast and dinner. The food often lacked seasoning for example and was bland and the meat was very tough. At breakfast there wasn't any brown bread and the pastries were all minis. The hotel itself was fine. The rooms a good size and cleaning was good. The bar area could have been a little cosier and it would have benefited from a cosy tv room. The ski guiding was pretty good. Good to have 3 options. When we arrived at resort they offered to walk us to the ski hire shop but left us in the bus station. And didn't apologise when we arrived at the ski shop to find him there The shuttle service was very good. In general it lacked the personal feel but that may be because I prefer a chalet. I would recommend Vip from other experiences but not this hotel.
Hello Lizzie, thank you for your feedback on your stay in the Hotel Montjola. I’m terribly sorry to hear that the standard of food failed to meet your expectations, I can assure you this isn't a regular occurrence in the Hotel but we have passed your comments back to the chef. We hope to be able to welcome you back to one of our chalets next season. Best wishes – Rachel Phillips, Marketing Assistant
