I am so pleased that we have discovered VIP Ski, your staff are amazingly friendly and enthusiastic and pro-active. Nothing is too much trouble for Kat or Rachel or any of the staff for that matter - Anneka was marvellous in the bar.
All of the staff were great with the kids, who adored them. The play room was a great facility and Heather and her team were brilliant.
The food was top class and exceeded expectation, especially the presentation and the choice of wines spot on.
The shuttle service worked really well (thanks Matt and Chris) and the ski guiding (Toby was v patient and knowledgeable) was flexible and well informed, giving tips on places to go.
The quiz was really fun and the atmosphere in the hotel relaxed and child friendly.
The rooms were very comfortable and everywhere looked well maintained. The hot tub was a treat.
Minor feedback points:
Steak knives for some of the meals would be good - gorgeous braised rump and teriyaki steak, but they were a bit of a struggle to cut into.
Info in the rooms re massage services, book-able nanny services/babysitting, TV, and how to work the phones for inter-room calls would be nice.
Wake up drinks were not well publicised.
Sauna was too hot! All in all, though, the spa was a great facility.
Directions to and procedure for ski school (esp the fact that they might move between groups) could be better esp for novice parents, it was a bit chaotic there and the instructors kept querying whether the kids were having lunch or not but didn't have the original slips we'd given in (don't worry, no one starved!) The admin shortfall lies with the ski school, but some tips about what to look out for would be good (eg make doubly sure that lunch is booked for your child and which meeting point to head for).
Overall, we have had a second brilliant holiday with VIP SKi and not only would you be our first choice for future holidays, we've scoped you out for our children in the (far off) future as a potential employment aspirartion!
