Clearly we think we're great, why come to work otherwise. But what do our customers say? We know that web sites are littered with anonymous out of date testimonials that it’s difficult to trust, but we're displaying comments written by our current and recent guests live, here on our web site. We had a fantastic time staying at the Little Lumi in Morzine at the beginning of August. Morzine is a great place to visit for all of the family, so much to do. The weather was fantastic and there is lots going on in resort unlike some of the other ski resorts we have visited in the summer. The whole place has a really busy vibe and there are cyclists/walkers/families around. We did some hiking, go ape, swimming outdoors, horse riding etc etc. Lots to do for a 2 year old including toddlers 'go ape' at the Indiana adventure park which was brilliant!! We went for the half board option and I'm really glad we did as we had the wonderful Sam cooking for us and she is amazing. Sam is such a great cook and is lovely and friendly and more than accommodated our request for healthy fresh meals. Sam and her husband, VIP resort manager Rob are so knowledgeable about the area as they live there all round and were able to recommend lots of lovely walks to go to and great restaurants for lunch. The chalet is wonderful for a small family with big bedrooms with the second bedroom able to sleep up to 2 children. The chalet was spotlessly clean and is fantastically located on the main high street so you can sit out on the large balconies in the evening enjoying the atmosphere outside. We also booked our fantastic VIP nanny Lily for half days which was great as it allowed us to get out and do some hiking in the mornings. Lily did some fantastic things with our son including taking him on a hike to the waterfall, swimming outdoors in the fabulous children's play area, going up in the bubble to see the mountain, 'fishing' in the river! We also visited Lac Montriond which was very beautiful. All in all we had an amazing time thanks to all of the VIP staff and especially to Sam for cooking such lovely food and Lily for looking after our son so well. We only wish we were still there!
Beautiful chalet, friendly staff and the sun shined all week, what more could we ask for! Thank you VIP SKI.
The experience was amazing and I know I can go on writing about the beautiful area, the comfortanle chalet, the amazing scenery, the activities in Morzine and the surrounding areas, but the one thing that stood up above all was the hospitality, the quality of service and support provided the resort manager Rob. Rob was an incredible person, very friendly, supportive, offering advise, full of information of the local areas, places to visit, see, things to do with kids, places to eat etc. He walks around wearing a smile, easy to reach, he was just Rob, the nicest person one could meet. Our experience in Morzine is one that will stay with us forever and the icing on the cake was the Tour de France and the atmosphere in generated. We will certainly be recommending VIP SKI to a lot of people and hope to use VIP SKI in the future still.
Very well turned out chalet which was very comfortable. Loads to do in resort with some activities pre-booked by our resort host Rob , who was superb, very helpful and always available for questions / help.
We all had a fantastic time. Rich and Kath were brilliant, couldn't do enough for you and cooked us some amazing meals during our stay. The chalet was also fantastic and the hot tub was just what we needed following a hard days cycling. A brilliant holiday and much recommend.
Great holiday, lovely accommodation, excellent meals and helpful staff.
Great holiday, lovely accommodation and very helpful staff.
We stayed in Room 7, in Alaska Lodge from 25th June this year for a week. The weather was amazing and Morzine was an excellent base to explore the PDS in Summer as well as further afield. Rob was our host for the week and he looked after us brilliantly. We were the only two guests in the chalet but breakfast was always beautifully laid out and cooked to perfection. Rob's knowledge of the area was invaluable and he was always really helpful when suggesting walking routes and areas to be aware of regarding mountain bikers. As well as parapenting options and places to visit further afield. I can recommend staying in the Alps in Summer in general and with VIP especially. The booking process was simple and Becky and Jess kept in touch with all the relevant information. Thanks to Rob, Becky & Jess for your help throughout!
Wanted a bit of training for the Etape and Chalet Alaska was perfect. Dead centre of town with room to store bikes. Rob was very accommodating with our delayed arrival and couldn't have been more helpful as well as cooking a great breakfast. Chalet was lovely, modern, spacious and very well appointed. It would be a lovely base for a Winter ski holiday.
