Why We Nominated Henry Haigh for TTG’s 30 Under 30

POSTED:

Earlier this month, we put forward someone truly special for TTG’s prestigious 30 Under 30 programme - our in-resort Content Creator, Henry Haigh.

Henry joined VIP SKI this past winter in a brand-new role: capturing the real guest and staff experience from the heart of our resorts. Armed with a camera, a drone, and an innate understanding of the skier’s emotional journey, he has helped bring our brand to life in a fresh, dynamic way. From snowy sunrises to behind-the-scenes team moments, his films and photography tell the story of VIP SKI as it really is: warm, thoughtful, and full of character.

A new role with a big impact

The Content Creator role was a leap for us - a commitment to storytelling, not just marketing. Henry embraced the opportunity from day one, embedding himself in resort life and using his creativity to elevate the way we connect with our guests. Whether it’s a quiet chalet breakfast or the buzz of a bluebird powder day, he captures the soul of the VIP SKI experience in a way words often can’t.

Telling the real story of VIP SKI

Henry’s work goes far beyond glossy promos. His content offers an honest, heartfelt view of life in our luxury chalets, celebrating both the guest journey and the dedication of our staff. His images and videos have featured across our website, newsletters, and social media – always with a consistent tone of warmth, quality, and care. He’s shown us how powerful visual storytelling can be in building an emotional connection with our brand.

Recognition, even without the shortlist

While we were disappointed to hear he didn’t make the final shortlist - the field of entries this year was incredibly competitive - we’re no less proud of Henry and the work he’s done. In fact, just by submitting his nomination, we made sure the judges saw a slice of VIP SKI and the creativity that fuels our brand.

We still believe in Henry. The TTG 30 Under 30 is one of the UK travel industry’s most respected initiatives, recognising rising stars who are shaping the future of travel. And we still believe Henry fits that description perfectly. Not just because of his technical skill, but because of the creativity, curiosity and kindness he brings to everything he does.

He’s a team player, a quiet innovator, and someone who genuinely cares about the stories he tells. We couldn’t be more grateful to have him as part of the VIP SKI family.

Looking ahead

So, no trophy this time, but no regrets either. We’ll be cheering on this year’s Class of 2025 when it’s announced, and who knows? If Henry’s still eligible next year, we just might have another go.

Until then, we’re lucky to have him on the team, and we can’t wait to see what stories he tells next.
