The story behind La Plagne’s most anticipated new chalet collection

When VIP SKI founder Andy first laid eyes on the site where the Graciosa now stands, he immediately saw its potential. That was 17 years ago - and some things, it turns out, are worth the wait. In our short film below, Andy shares the story behind the project – why La Plagne was the natural next step for VIP SKI, how we’ve combined high-altitude convenience with quietly luxurious design, and what it means to continue shaping ski holidays after more than 30 years at the helm.

Designing with purpose: behind the look and feel of the Graciosa

From the very beginning, the Graciosa was conceived to make the most of its extraordinary location. Perched at 2003m in the heart of Plagne Centre, these ski-in ski-out chalets offer direct access to the vast Paradiski area so guests can step outside and straight onto the slopes.

Every suite in the Graciosa is designed to feel like a home away from home, with layered textures, warm materials and contemporary alpine character throughout. Floor-to-ceiling windows, generous balconies and carefully considered communal spaces all celebrate the stunning alpine setting, ensuring the breathtaking views are always centre stage whether you’re relaxing on the sofa with champagne and canapés, soaking in the hot tub or enjoying breakfast with the mountains as your backdrop.

Interior designer, Richard Crow, takes us through the inspiration behind the spaces, from the piste-side location to the impressive views of Mont Blanc.

Hot tubs by crane: Bringing the VIP touch to new heights

Last month, we craned in a little extra indulgence – quite literally. 16 hot tubs were delivered and installed onto the balconies of our new Graciosa chalets, turning heads in Plagne Centre and lifting our chalet experience to a whole new level (pun intended).

The hot tubs are now in pride of place, ready for guests to soak, sip and stargaze at 2003m – a perfect après-ski moment, no hiking required.
