The chalet is in a great location in the centre of town close to the piste and ski school. The chalet is well setup with the 3 lounges so we never felt like our children were taking over the place. The chalet staff seemed weary and had commented to us it was hard to get up in the morning now the season was coming to the end. The food was generally of a high standard although some of the dishes were overly spicy. The chalet staff weren't as friendly and the service didn't feel as personal as we had in the previous year in Morzine with VIP. We had a problem with the plumbing in our room meaning that it smelt very bad. The chalet staff made an attempt to conceal the smell but didn't do more to investigate until we raised it with the resort manager. Despite this its a well setup chalet and I would consider coming back again.

Our third skiing holiday as 2 families, and without doubt, the VIP chalet was the finest. The layout, the space, the cinema room, sauna, steam and hot tub meant we never left when we had come off the slopes. This is lucky as the chalet is quite a way out of town, but the uber efficient on call shuttle service from 8 till 8 meant that this was never really an issue. Easter skiing can be a mixed bag but we had glorious sunshine and the 3 Valleys means there is always some snow to be found. Our chalet hosts Paddy and Rom could not have been nicer, particularly with 5 energetic boys to deal with. The little touches like the robes and slippers, wine served in the hot tub and hot chocolate for all the boys every night really made this special. A wonderful Easter.... Feeling very spoilt. Only one thing - ICE for the drinks would be awesome.......
Big thank you to all the team at Club Aspen who took great care of our family. Lovely to stay in a larger chalet/hotel giving the opportunity to mix with other guests but with enough space to spread out when you wanted to. Will definitely be back.
Another wonderful holiday. Thank you to the VIP staff who made our stay another fantastic experience. We have used VIP for more than 10 years and the staff yet again went beyond the call..... We knew that the snow would not be great, but VIP went out of their way to accommodate our disjointed travel requirements. Thanks to Sam and Sam for putting up with this. The food was huge and wonderful. We must learn not to eat too much out of the chalet. Ashley and Johnny were great with menus. Jess, Tom, Poppy and Ben thank you so much for your tireless service and thanks to the rest of the crew who were largely unseen. We will be back! Xxx
