White wines

Gavi la Batistina 2023 - €19
REGION: Piedmonte, North Western Italy
GRAPE: Cortese
Really top-quality Gavi, made from the Cortese (or Gavi) grape in Piedmont in NW Italy. Complex and enchanting on the nose with notes of white peach, pear and acacia blossom, it has a lovely round feel in the mouth, with flavours of apple and lime whilst gently nutty.

Vignerons de Buxy Tete de Cuvee 2022, AOC Montagny 1er Cru - €23
REGION: Burgundy, France
GRAPE: Chardonnay
Here is a beautifully rounded oaked Chardonnay from premier cru vineyards. A subtle nose – as far away as you could possibly get from Aussie or Californian oaked Chardonnays. Toasty notes, allied to the gentle creamy butteriness that is so typical of Chardonnay. The wine is hitting its peak right now, having benefitted from a few years of bottle age.

Cedric Bardin Sancerre 2024 - €31
REGION: Loire Valley
GRAPE: Sauvignon Blanc
A classic Loire Sauvignon Blanc, all the hallmark freshness and citrus fruit that you would expect from the area. This wine is crisp, dry and mineral laced. A perfect match for seafood and shellfish and delightful as an aperitif.

Chablis 1er Cru Vaillons 2022, Louis Moreau - €33
REGION: Burgundy, France
GRAPE: Chardonnay
The wine is bone dry with a crisp, refreshing minerality and is packed with lots of ripe lemons, grapefruits and green apples. Secondary characteristics of honey and beeswax entice the senses and make this an absolute pleasure to drink.

Domaine des Deux Roches Pouilly-Fuisse, Vielles Vignes 2023 - €35
REGION: Burgundy, France
GRAPE: Chardonnay
Deep gold in colour, this wine has an intense brioche aroma, with hints of stone fruits and minerality. The palate is complex, with tastes of citrus, green apples and creamy oak notes.

Red Wines

Fourmone ‘La Poete’ Vacqueyras 2017 - €27
REGION: Vacqueras, Rhone, France
GRAPES: Grenache, Syrah
On the nose it has mentholated notes with a feeling of freshness and leather and mocha perfume. On the palate there are red and black fruit aromas and subtle tannins. This is a greedy and persistent wine.

Le Grand Maronnier Crozes Hermitage 2023 - €27
REGION: Crozes Hermitage, Rhone
GRAPE: Syrah
Made from 100% Syrah grapes in the northern Rhone Valley. This ripe and vibrant wine has notes of cassis, black cherry and crushed pepper. Pairswell with white meats and roasts.

Domaine Ghislain Kohut Marsannay, ‘les Champs Perdrix’ 2021 - €34
REGION: Marsannay, Burgundy, France
GRAPE: Pinot Noir
From the up-and-coming Marsannay appellation, this wine offers classic Pinot Noir characteristics, along with a concentration that is often lacking from this end of Burgundy. With a few years under its belt now, it’s really starting to hit its stride.

Chateau Bernateau Saint Emilion Grand Cru 2019 - €36
REGION: Bordeaux
GRAPE: Merlot, Cabernet Franc
Owned by the Lavau family and handed down from generation to generation. This small estate produces high quality wines from Saint-Étienne-de-Lisse. The domain is set over 20 hectares of Southeastern facing vineyards on the right bank of Bordeaux. Delicate flavours of black fruits, pepper and tobacco with a nice volume and a lingering finish.

Domaine Jean Guiton, Savigny Les Beaune 1er Cru 2021 - €38
REGION: Burgundy, France
GRAPE: Pinot Noir
Guillaume Guiton, after studies in Beaune and an apprenticeship in Burgundy and Australia, is now in charge of the domaine founded 35 years ago by his father, Jean. Since he took over in 2005, he has earned rave reviews from Jancis Robinson and La Revue du Vin de France. The Savigny has a lovely ruby colour, with a bright nose of red cherries. A palate of lovely pure fruit, real definition and a streak of freshness.

Produttori di Barbaresco – Barbaresco 2020 - €45
REGION: Piedmonte, North Western Italy
GRAPE: Nebbiolo
Barbaresco is a village southeast of Turin, whose wines must be made with the Nebbiolo grape. This wine is produced by the local cooperative, but forget any notions of mass-produced plonk, these guys are artisans of the highest order. Flavours of spices, pepper and black cherries are present on the nose and palate. Powerful, firm yet elegant.

Rose Wine

M de Minuty 2022 - €30
REGION : Provence, France
GRAPE : Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Tibouren
Sunny Provence in a bottle. This truly iconic rosé has intense aromas of orange zest and cranberry. It is well balanced with fresh acidity.
