What Happens When You Holiday with Us Twice in One Season

POSTED:

Some guests come back to VIP SKI year after year. But some return even sooner, within the same season. And when they do, we believe they should enjoy just as much thought, variety, and flavour the second time around.

That’s why we’ve created our Week 2 Menu, a completely different seven-day dining experience designed exclusively for guests who book more than one catered chalet holiday with us in the same winter.

Whether you’re hopping between resorts, extending your ski season, or simply couldn’t resist booking again after your first trip, our culinary team is ready with a new line-up of dishes to surprise and delight you.

Because when it comes to hospitality, we believe familiarity should never mean repetition.

We love making every return visit feel extra special - especially when it’s in the same season.

A rare second course in chalet hospitality

It’s not common in the world of catered ski chalets to find an alternative weekly menu. In fact, most chalet companies offer a single rotating menu all season. But at VIP SKI, we’re different. We know some of our most loyal guests are also our most discerning, and we relish the opportunity to make their second stay feel just as special as their first.

We’ve gone beyond simply swapping a few ingredients or adding a twist. The Week 2 Menu is a full set of new dishes, spanning every course from hearty breakfasts and sweet afternoon teas to elegant canapés, creative vegetarian options, and indulgent desserts.

Freedom to choose: Same comforts or a new culinary journey

Of course, many returning guests ask to repeat the original menu, and who could blame them? Whether it’s our classic Sticky Toffee Bread & Butter Pudding or the melt-in-the-mouth Duck Breast, the comfort of familiar flavours is part of what brings guests back.

But for those craving something fresh, our Week 2 Menu offers an entirely new set of favourites waiting to be discovered. It’s your holiday, your choice - simply let us know your preference when booking.

(Please note: the Week 2 Menu is available exclusively to guests who book an entire chalet. Unfortunately, it’s not offered in chalets where we sell room by room, or in our hotel.)

What’s cooking in week 2?

We’ve built this alternative menu with the same care, balance, and bold alpine flavours that define every VIP SKI chalet meal.

Here’s a taste of what’s on offer in your second week:

  • Sweetcorn fritters with smashed avocado and feta
  • Beetroot and goat’s cheese stack with fig chutney
Mains

  • Moroccan chicken flatbreads with carrot slaw and tzatziki

At VIP SKI, exceptional service is more than a promise, it’s our hallmark.

Our hosts make it happen

Behind every beautifully plated dish is a dedicated chalet host trained to deliver excellence. All our hosts are trained on both menus before the season begins, giving them the skills and confidence to switch seamlessly depending on guest preference.

This dual-menu approach is a serious commitment - to training, to preparation, and to quality. But we believe it’s worth it to surprise and delight guests who choose to spend even more of their winter with us.

The VIP SKI difference

At VIP SKI, we believe that true hospitality is about anticipating needs before they’re voiced. The Week 2 Menu might seem like a small detail, but for us it represents something bigger: our desire to go above and beyond for guests who return, season after season.

It’s one of the many reasons guests tell us they feel so at home in our chalets.

Come once, and you’ll understand the VIP SKI difference. Come twice in one season - and we’ll prove it again, one course at a time.
