It's all about the food...

Chalet holidays are all about the food...

One of the main reasons for selecting a chalet ski holiday has to be the food. You’re on holiday after all, why would you want to be doing the cooking and the washing up?

A chalet holiday is the delight of having a dedicated chalet host catering for you all week long. Wake up to the smell of fresh coffee and croissants, return from a day skiing to a freshly baked cake, brownies or muffins, then sit back and relax whilst a 3 course evening meal is served to you. And if you still have room, retire to the lounge and enjoy a fresh coffee and a selection of cheeses.

Ok, so you may return from your ski holiday questioning ‘how many calories have I eaten this week’? But don’t worry, you can burn up to 3,000 calories during six hours skiing!

Our Executive Chef is passionate about food and hugely sensitive to the appetite of a hungry skier whilst considering a balanced diet. Our menus are heavy enough to reward mountain exertion yet light and simple enough to leave you grinning not groaning.

Menu choice...

Many of our guests have commented that occasionally, after a hard day skiing (and often quite a substantial lunch on the mountain), they would prefer to see a more simple dish on the menu, or maybe a lighter option.

We’ve listened to these requests, and offer a ‘switch menu’ for whole chalet bookings. With classic favourites to choose from such as Fish Pie with minted peas, Gourmet burgers with chunky chips, homemade lasagne with green salad and of course the French favourite, Tartiflette with charcuterie and green salad.

For the ultimate foodies...

We understand for some people the food on a chalet holiday is almost as important as the skiing. Well, we’ve got that covered too.

We're renowned for offering excellent service and superb cuisine but for those looking for an even greater degree of luxury, and gourmet cuisine our Platinum service is the answer. Your personal chef will call you before the holiday to discuss your individual likes and dislikes, and will then plan a bespoke menu especially for you. They and our sommelier will select fine wines to accompany your personal menu.

Special dietary requirements? No problem...

We do understand a holiday can sometimes be stressful particularly if you, or one of your family have food allergies or special dietary requirements. Our mission is simple; to make your holiday as enjoyable as possible. So, to that end we will do everything we can to cater for your needs.  Whilst our menu is planned, it is not set in stone, we will always do our best to accommodate preferences and requests.
