Mon July 27, 2015

The most obvious role when thinking about ski jobs is the ever popular ‘chalet host’ role, but there are loads of other opportunities for skilled and experienced people to spend a winter working in the Alps.

Here’s our list of 5 other ski jobs;

Take your skills to the stunning surroundings of the French Alps!

There aren’t many ways to earn a living by building snowmen, creating a glittery masterpiece or going on a trip for hot chocolate, but being a private nanny is one.

Perfect ski job for: Hard working and enthusiastic child carers, qualified to NNEB, CACHE, NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent. Or teachers or nurses with experience working with young children.

We’ve found this brilliant video in the archives… see how the ‘Logistics’ team roll…

4. Head Chef

Aka the kitchen superhero

Your creativity and menus will set the guests taste buds tingling and keep them talking for months about the fabulous food on their ski holiday. It’s a demanding job but hey, better a kitchen in the Alps than a kitchen in the UK during the winter months.

Perfect ski job for: Experienced and qualified chefs with an equal love for their culinary art and skiing or snowboarding.
