Update on our Monarch Flights

Some of you might have been concerned about the stories circulating in the media with regard to the future of Monarch Airlines and the fact that we are using their aircraft on some of our routes for the forthcoming winter. Certain stories have also focused on the fact that Monarch have indicated that they will cease charter flights as part of their restructuring plan and that they will be reducing the size of their aircraft fleet.

We wish to reassure all existing and potential customers that we have been following developments for some months and have been in consultation with the airline throughout the recent period of uncertainty concerning the shape of the Monarch in the future. We have an absolute assurance from Monarch that our flight programme for the forthcoming winter is unaffected by the current restructuring plans. Any change in charter arrangements will not take place until summer 2015 at the earliest.

Please therefore be assured that the current uncertainty surrounding the future strategic plans for Monarch carries absolutely no risk with regard to VIP SKI holidays in 2014/15. As a further comfort, be reassured that because of the uncertainty of modern commercial aviation, we always have a contingency plan in place in order to ensure the delivery of our product in the event of the failure of one of the airlines with whom we operate.
