Subject to availability we may hold an option on your chosen accommodation. To secure your booking we require a deposit of 15% of the total booking value including any extras (such as empty beds, childcare and lift passes). You will also need to include full payment for any relevant insurance premiums.
The balance is due ten weeks before you travel. Please note that we do not normally issue reminders. E-tickets and pre-departure information will be sent the week prior to departure.
The following are included in our standard package price:
- Return air travel between Gatwick and Grenoble / Geneva / Freidrichshafen
- Coach transfers to and from your resort
- All airport and resort taxes
- Accommodation as described
- Towels, with mid-week change and bed linen. Bathrobes and slippers (in chalets with hot tub and/or sauna)
- Daily breakfast, afternoon tea and three course evening meal with wine, cheese, coffee and mints (evening meal on six days in chalets). Canapés on first and last evenings
- Complimentary ski and snowboard hosting service on 3 days. Provided in Austrian & Swiss resorts only, for skiers and boarders of intermediate standard and above, subject to availability and local regulations. Not available in French resorts.
- Travel is not included for departures on Dec 1 & 8 2013.
The following items are not included:
- Lift pass
- Ski equipment hire
- Ski lessons
- Private taxi transfers
- Ski carriage
We charge £15 each way for ski carriage on our flights.
Should we be required to purchase additional seats on an alternative flight we may need to pass on charges of around £20-£30 per set of skis. We will always advise you of this prior to travel.
Please note that with recent increased security measures at the airport, the check-in process is subject to congestion and therefore we advise that you allow plenty of time for this. The minimum required check-in time is 2 hours prior to departure. An increasing number of passengers are missing their flights due to late arrival at check-in and not allowing enough time to pass through passport control and security. Please ensure that you allow yourself plenty of time.
The baggage allowance on our flights is one bag per person weighing no more than 20kg, plus one item of skis, ski boots or snowboard in one bag. We charge £15 each way for ski carriage on our flights.
Hand luggage is restricted to one piece per person weighing no more than 5kg with maximum dimensions 50cm x 35cm x 23cm.
Full details of your baggage allowance will be detailed in your pre-departure information. Due to recent events, changes have been made to what you are allowed to take on board the aircraft. We strongly advise you to check www.baa.com before you travel for advice on what you can bring and buy at the airport.

At the airport
A VIP airport representative will be available to assist you at the airport. Contact details of our airport representative will be sent to you with your final travel documents. When you arrive at the outbound airport our overseas representatives will be there to welcome you and show you to your transfer.
All the flights and flight-inclusive holidays on this website are financially protected by the ATOL scheme. When you pay you will be supplied with an ATOL certificate. Please ask for it and check to ensure that everything you booked (flights, hotels and other services) is listed on it. As a member of the Association of Bonded Travel Organisers Trust Limited (ABTOT), VIP SKI has provided a bond to meet the requirements of the Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992.
In the event of VIP SKI’s insolvency, protection is provided for non-flight packages commencing in and returning to the UK and other non-flight packages excluding pre arranged travel to and from your destination. Please note that packages booked outside the UK are only protected when purchased directly with VIP SKI.
In the above circumstances, if you have not yet travelled you may claim a refund, or if you have already travelled, you may claim repatriation to the starting point of your non-flight package.
