How to book

You can now search availability, prices and book online. Alternatively, call our reservations number on 0844 557 3119 to discuss your accommodation requirements and holiday dates with Rachael, Louise, Megan, Sophie, Kate or Jess or e-mail ski@vip-chalets.com

Subject to availability we may hold an option on your chosen accommodation. To secure your booking we require a deposit of 15% of the total booking value including any extras (such as empty beds, childcare and lift passes).  You will  also need to include full payment for any relevant insurance premiums.

The balance is due ten weeks before you travel. Please note that we do not normally issue reminders. E-tickets and pre-departure information will be sent the week prior to departure.

What's included?

The following are included in the brochure price:

  • Return air travel between Gatwick and Grenoble / Geneva
  • Coach transfers to and from your resort
  • All airport and resort taxes
  • Accommodation as described
  • Towels, with mid-week change and bed linen. Bathrobes and slippers (in chalets with hot tub and/or sauna)
  • Daily breakfast, afternoon tea and three course evening meal with wine, cheese, coffee and mints (evening meal on six days). Canapés on first and last evenings
  • Complimentary ski and snowboard hosting service on 3 days for skiers and boarders of intermediate standard and above, subject to availability and local regulations
  • Travel is not included for departures on Dec 2 & 9 2012.

The following items are not included: 

  • Lift pass
  • Ski equipment hire
  • Ski lessons
  • Childcare
  • Private taxi transfers
  • Insurance 
  • Ski carriage

Ski carriage

We charge £15 each way for ski carriage on our flights. 

Should we be required to purchase additional seats on an alternative flight we may need to pass on charges of around £20-£30 per set of skis. We will always advise you of this prior to travel. 

Check in

Please note that with recent increased security measures at the airport, the check-in process is subject to congestion and therefore we advise that you allow plenty of time for this. The minimum required check-in time is 2 hours prior to departure. An increasing number of passengers are missing their flights due to late arrival at check-in and not allowing enough time to pass through passport control and security. Please ensure that you allow yourself plenty of time. 

Baggage allowance

The baggage allowance on our flights is one bag per person weighing no more than 20kg, plus one item of skis, ski boots or snowboard in one bag. We charge £15 each way for ski carriage on our flights. This is free for returning guests.

Hand luggage is restricted to one piece per person weighing no more than 5kg with maximum dimensions 50cm x 35cm x 23cm.

Full details of your baggage allowance will be detailed in your pre-departure information. Due to recent events, changes have been made to what you are allowed to take on board the aircraft. We strongly advise you to check www.baa.com before you travel for advice on what you can bring and buy at the airport.

At the airport

A VIP airport representative will be available to assist you at the airport. Contact details of our airport representative will be sent to you with your final travel documents. When you arrive at the outbound airport our overseas representatives will be there to welcome you and show you to your transfer.  

Consumer protection

All VIP holidays are fully bonded for your protection. We are licensed with the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 3556. The air holidays and flights we provide are ATOL protected. In the unlikely event of our insolvency, the CAA will ensure that you are not left stranded abroad and will arrange to refund any money you have paid to us for an advanced booking.
