Our hosts
You will not be surprised to learn that we get an enormous number of applications for the position of ski host. We get to choose the very best people so that you get the very best out of your time on the slopes. Laura and Kelly look for caring people who can ski a bit, not good skiers who might care. Their job is to look after you, not to show you how to ski.
They know the mountain
Squeezing the best out of your time on the slopes. During one week’s skiing you don’t spend too many hours on the hill. In a new resort to waste a minute wondering where to go is an expensive luxury and unnecessary worry. Hosts will steer you gently to the quietest runs, quickest lifts, sunniest stops and biggest hot chocolate.
Good company
A little company on the slopes. Family in ski school or friends on the nursery slopes? Skiing on your own is rarely much fun. Join one of our hosting groups for a few hours and swop ski banter with some fellow guests in the resort.
Manage your friends
With a group of friends skiing together, the skier perceived to be the most experienced usually gets landed with the job of guide for the week. Fun at times, often a diplomatic minefield. Sub-contracting the job to one of our hosts makes for a more relaxed and enjoyable time all round.
