Winners of the ‘snow awards’ for best ski school in 2004 and 2005, New Generation are very well established in Meribel. All instructors are English speaking and highly qualified. Offer group courses, clinics and private lessons along with snowboarding and children’s lessons (from age 6) during school holidays.
Magic Snowsports Academy (www.magicfr.com)
British orientated ski school. Offer both group and private lessons for adults and children. Will take beginner children from 4 to 5 in classes with a maximum group size of 6. Older children can go into the ‘fun factory’, which provides 4 hours tuition in the morning on four days and 2 days full tuition with lunch on the mountain.

Only employ fully qualified British instructors. Offer a full range of ski and snowboard lessons, both groups and privates. Also offer ‘snow safaris’ for children aged 4-12 years old during school holidays. Maximum group size is 8 to allow individual attention. New for 2008-9 – Off piste clinics.

Best for private lessons, small groups (4-8 people) and off piste. Snow Systems offer lessons in all disciplines with a more personal and effective teaching method than the “follow me” approach. All instructors speak good English. Will take children from aged 4, full day lessons are available for children during school holidays with a maximum group size of 8.
