Television
Televisions are provided in chalets primarily to view DVD’s. Each of our chalet descriptions details the TV service available in that particular accommodation. Where television is listed as `Freeview´ then a range of channels is normally available. These include the BBC and ITV channels, News 24, Cbeebies, Extreme Channel, music and cartoon channels and BBC radio plus many others.

Surround Sound
In many of the chalets the DVD players are equipped with a 3D surround sound system. To change the surround sound, press the button marked ‘Sound Field’ on the DVD remote control until you find the appropriate setting.

DVD Library
We have a wide selection of DVDs available for your entertainment (see our library list). Please place the order of the DVD(s) you would like to watch with your Chalet Host. We request that all DVDs are taken out for a maximum of 24 hours only in order that all our guests may take full advantage of our different titles.

Local Radio
Radio Val broadcasts daily throughout the season on 96.1 FM. The weather forecast and ski report is in English and is first broadcast at 08.00 and then approx every 30 minutes thereafter until 10.00.

Board Games
We have a selection of board games available in each resort. These include all the old favourites such as Back gammon, chess and Scrabble. Please request the full list from your Chalet Host who will be happy to organise the delivery to your door.

Once the sole preserve of super-luxury ski lodges, hot tubs have become the standard après-ski indulgence and are now a fixture in many VIP chalets. There can be few greater pleasures than basking in a bubbling tub and nursing weary limbs after a cold exhausting day on the slopes. Or the ultimate extravagance of a day off the slopes and a morning laze in the tub after a relaxing massage. The snow capped alpine backdrop makes a refreshing change from your local gym.

Hot tubs & saunas
Our hot tubs are large enough to accommodate six guests at a time. A Jacuzzi bath is designed for one person. We provide bath robes in all chalets with hot tubs.

Please note that our hot tubs are cleaned each week. This operation involves removing the current week’s water and then refilling. The hot tub will be out of operation from dinner on Saturday night until it has returned to the correct temperature. This can take up to 24 hours.
