Our Managers are extremely important in ensuring that your holiday lives up to both our standards and your expectations. They will meet you at the airport and accompany you back to the resort, deliver your lift pass and arrange any ski hire or lessons that you might require. They will keep an attentive but unobtrusive eye on your needs throughout the week. You will find them to be a mine of local information, extremely approachable and permanently accessible to ensure that you get the very best from your holiday.

As well as possessing a flair for entertaining and a genuine love of food, our chalet hosts are friendly, unflappable and exceptionally hard working. Having completed a rigorous pre-season training course, each host is encouraged to manage their chalet as if it were their own home. We find this engenders a commitment to your enjoyment and well-being which makes the atmosphere in our chalets quite different. Every one of us carries the experience and knowledge that we have acquired as a small successful business over the last 18 years. We are all proud to be part of VIP and really do look after you as we would like to be looked after ourselves.

It takes real skill to host rather than just lead, so we enlist the help of local ski schools and the British Association of Ski Patrollers to teach us about rescue, first-aid, mountain awareness and of course, how to be the perfect companion on the slopes. Our hosts are there not only to find the best snow but also to show you the early morning sun, the best lunch spot, the coldest beer and the quickest lifts. We recruit mature individuals with a warm personality so skiers and boarders are always encouraged and never intimidated. Hosting is available 3 days a week between Monday and Friday. Please note that our hosts are not instructors and should you want lessons, these should be arranged locally or in advance of your holiday.

We go to great lengths to ensure that the process of booking your holiday is as enjoyable and hassle-free as possible, with phones answered by people who really understand chalet holidays. When you call our London office you will always be able to speak to someone who knows both the resort and all the chalets. They will have bounced on the beds, lounged in the living area, hung over the balcony and perhaps even had a dip in the hot tub! They know the ski area, the lifts and how long it really takes to walk to the piste or back from town. All have done a season or two themselves. We aim to match this knowledge with meticulous attention to detail, plus helpful and above all honest advice in making your holiday selection.
