Driving to the Alps in your own car gives you increased flexibility over timings and luggage with the possibility of two extra days skiing. Our resorts are all approximately 600 miles from Calais with a journey time of 10 to 12 hours including rest stops. This can be affected by adverse weather or French holiday traffic. Motorway tolls cost approximately €80 each way. We are happy to make the arrangements for your Channel crossing by ferry or Eurotunnel. Eurotunnel
Eurotunnel is a popular alternative way to cross the Channel. Compared to the ferry, it can save up to an hour on your journey time. Departures are usually every 15 minutes with easy road access to the UK and French terminals.
