Flight departure information
Ski carriage
We do not charge for ski carriage on our flights, although should we be required to purchase additional seats on an alternative flight we may need to pass on charges of around £20-£30 per set of skis. We will always advise you of this prior to travel. Please also note that if you are travelling on alternative flights, the airline may not provide a hot meal or complimentary drink.
Baggage Allowance
The baggage allowance on our flights is one bag per person weighing no more than 20kg, plus one set of skis, snowboard or ski boots in one bag per person. Hand luggage is restricted to one piece weighing no more than 5kg, which must not exceed the following dimensions 56cm x 45cm x 25cm. Full details of your baggage allowance will be detailed in your pre-departure information. Due to recent events, changes have been made to what you are allowed to take on board the aircraft. We strongly advise you to check www.baa.com before you travel for advice on what you can bring and buy at the airport. For up to date information on hand baggage restrictions please refer to the UK department for Transport www.dft.gov.uk
Check-in
Our flights depart from the North Terminal at Gatwick and Terminal 1 at Heathrow. Please note that with recent increased security measures at the airport, the check-in process is subject to congestion and therefore we advise that you allow plenty of time for this. The minimum required check-in time is 2 hours prior to departure. An increasing number of passengers are missing their flights due to late arrival at check-in and not allowing enough time to pass through passport control and security. Please ensure that you allow yourself plenty of time.
Airport Assistance
A VIP airport representative will be available to assist you at the airport. Contact details of our airport representative will be sent to you with your final travel documents. When you arrive at Geneva our overseas representatives will be there to welcome you and show you to your transfer.
