Insurance
Insurance is an essential part of any holiday but even more so when you go skiing. As Snowline is an Appointed Representative of Fogg Travel Insurance Services Limited, who with Insurers, Union Reiseversicherung AG (URV), are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA), we are able to offer our clients winter sports travel insurance tailored especially for our holidays. Those taking Fogg insurance will also benefit from the provision of the Fogg Medi-card which is recognised by all the local emergency services, doctors and hospitals. All you need pay is the policy excess amount. Our resort staff are specifically trained in Fogg emergency procedures and will be able to co-ordinate friends and family in case of an accident.
Important: It is a condition of coming on a Snowline holiday and also or your own protection that you have insurance which provides at east the same cover as Snowline’s recommended policy. It is essential that you read the insurance certificate. As with most insurance, you are only insured for an event which occurs after you have purchased the cover. Please carefully read the paragraph headed “Health” under the Important Notice Section and shown below. If for any reason it is not suitable for you, you may return it for a full refund, provided you return it within 14 days of purchase and you have not travelled or have made a claim.
Health: If you, or any other person travelling with you, have ever had treatment for any heart or circulatory condition, a stroke or high blood pressure, any breathing condition (including asthma), any type of cancer, any type of diabetes, any existing injury or other serious or reoccurring medical condition, any condition requiring long term prescribed medication or if you are receiving or awaiting investigation for any medical condition you must advise the Referral Helpline as per the policy terms to see if additional cover is available. Insurers reserve the right to impose terms. You will receive confirmation in writing of their decision.
